Our country has moved so far away from our roots in Capitalism it is sickening. Certain populations in our country should heed the advice given by one of their own.......JFK "The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it – and the glow from that fire can truly light the world. And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country" and "Let every nation know... that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty." Liberty means being able to pretty much do as you please as long as you are not hurting anyone. This current administration is destroying liberty. And to be honest with you, so did the Bush administration. Patriot Act? Being allowed to bypass basic lawful acts such as search warrants and can tap people's phones? NO. Not even in the midst of terrorism should we allow a government to do that to it's citizens. But we did because we were all so scared of the terrorist that we allowed out liberty to be stripped from us. A revolution is coming....
I listened to It on the radio while working. I'm not a supporter of Obama but I thought he made some good points. Other stuff not so much.
I changed my mind. Lets make the minimum wage $30 an hour and we will all benefit. Nevermind what the job is worth or what it would do business. Fact is, most minimum wage earners are high school and college kids working their way through school. There are retired people as well who either didn't save or are wanting something to fill their time or supplement SS. None of which are the employers fault or responsibility to overpay for. If you want to improve the economy, how about giving companies incentives to move their manufacturing processes BACK to the USA and quit paying citizens of other countries to build our consumer goods. That is called government management. We put Americans back to work and there is more expendable income out there through the new jobs to get the economy going again (eventually).
I find it funny, I was in PA this past weekend and got on the subject of obama there where a bout 20 people there and none of them liked obama none of them voted for him... I have yet to meet a obama suporter.. How did he get to be the president?
Obama was elected by the Urban areas. Most of you guys are country folk, lol. How/why people can't grasp this is beyond me.

Look at california. Half the state was red but they get ALL the electoral votes. Not sure how that broke down in actual votes. Just found it interesting.

Obama has shown many times he has a problem with the American Flag maybe he would be willing to switch to this everywhere he goes
