I turned it off. He and his blind followers have proven that they will do as they please. No sense in even getting upset at this point.

It doesn't matter if you are democrat or republican......the state of the union address is nothing but a high school pep rally. The other side will think its garbage and the followers will think its great.

Spending us out of debt? Does even the voters that voted for him believe in this?

That's what he said. I doubt it will have the votes.

He apparently doesn't know or doesn't care that the middle class pays for that. He is supposed to be all about the middle class but he continues this kind of crap.

We need to get a campaign going to instill the knowledge into these people that they are distroying this land of opprotunity for the future generations. They we be paying off the welfare checks these people get so that they can sit on their arses and act cool.

    Sad state of affairs.

Yea; no kidding. All that does is increase cost on business and get passed on to consumers. As well as decrease earning potential of the management in those companies. The people that have actually payed their dues, went to college and so forth. You know, the middle class.;)

Minimum wage jobs are not meant to be careers. If your in that situation, get the education/training and get out of it.

Yea, they are not who the remark was geared to. It was geared to those that are in those jobs with no intentions of advancing themselves so they can get out of that situation.

They could always get student loans, oh wait we don't invest in people anymore via education. Much easier to keep them on the welfare pay roll.

Actually, we do. There are still plenty of grants available, especially for those in the situation we are discussing.
Hell, my daughter is getting a check for $2500 from the government for no other reason than having a student loan. My wife is getting one for $1800 for the same reason.
