thinking of spring and when those wonderful mushrooms pop up!! I can almost taste that fried goodness right now. Hopefully this crazy mild winter we have had doesnt mess up the crop this year. Only 3 more months! Any others out there get excited for mushroom hunting?
you bet! I won't be going Turkey hunting this spring, but I'll find some time to grab some shrooms for sure. any luck with finding sheds yet? I'm still hearing about people still seeing bucks with their head gear still attached. I'm hoping to make it down to my ground this weekend, but I believe most of it is under water.
None yet, but I did see some one antlered bucks the other day. They are definitely starting to fall. Ill head out this weekend a bit and then hit it hard the following couple of weeks.
Every spring in May I go camping, hunt turkeys, hunt mushrooms and go trout fishing. Been doing it with some college friends in my home area for the past 11 years. Something I look forward to every year. Hoping for better shrooming this year. Had a lot of good times BS'ng around a fire.
