October 22, 2013 – The Spot: Colorado Eastern Plains Whitetail Deer Hunt: Last week, I managed to sneak in a quick scouting trip to check up on a location I scouted in the summer. As fall roars in, the landscape sure starts to look different when compared to the hot summer months. I’m glad I went as I actually found a straight tree to climb with my Lone Wolf climber in the wet river bottom. It’s overlooking a major trail and is in between a small river/ stream, some swampy marsh and an overgrown field. Around The Spot, are crops and ag-land. Most of the fields have been tilled but some small pockets are standing with natures candy. The goal is to sneak in mid-day and hunt till dark, if not sooner I’ll post updates from The Spot. Rudy
I've seen some really big white tails and Muleys while bird hunting. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk
I wanted to share in real time everything that was happening from my hunt but I just didn't have service. Sorry about that. But, I made a video of my hunt showing what I experienced in the link below: The Spot: 2013 DIY Public Land Bowhunting Colorado Eastern Plains Whitetails - YouTube Rudy
