I'm sure most of you have seen his inventions. I have to say German engineering ,his creativity is something. What do you think of his latest video on the repeating rail prototype? Personally it is pretty slick. Looks well made and he's honest on projected costs. That sure would make complaining about crossbows difficult..lol No link, I can't from this devise
But you have to admit it's quite ingenious. It will also fire up some of the same type of debates had over crossbows a few years ago. Things on that front have gotten a bit more civil over the years.
"Nah I only need 1 arrow." sota's reply reminds me of a story. A young Indian was given a musket, powder and one ball. When he asked for another ball, his father replied, "The wolf hunts with what teeth he's got."
To that discussion, how crossbows are too "easy", they are like guns, don't belong in archery. Nothing like a "vertical" bow. This rather simple, removable attachment certainly makes a vertical bow more like a gun than the one shot crossbow. Should the price come down I wonder how many will look at it like they have the range finding sights, low light lite sights, laser sights to make the vertical bow hunting easier. Now humane follow up shots can be made...hhhmmmm Now all I'm doing is pointing out past vertical / crossbow views and possible views on this new "aid". For all the past angst over crossbows they are very popular in the hunting world as just another tool. I wonder how long it will take for this new tool.
BTW if anyone can link the site or YouTube video of this ,I'd appreciate it. I'm rarely on a regular computer.
