Kevin Love needs to be benched... The NBA refs are a complete joke... I cant even watch games anymore without having to change the channel. The flops are ridiculous. The players dictate what the refs do in the NBA more than any sport by far. That curly headed dude (can't remember his name) for GSW is a joke.
Anderson Varejao, who used to play for Cleveland ironically. LOL. I made a joke last night that I almost missed his flopping. Almost. Any time he's involved in a play, he's on his back sliding backwards acting like he got punched in the head. Love is adding no value to the offense and he's a defensive liability. He needs benched and let Jefferson and Frye play instead. They need to take advantage of Bogut being hurt and play Mozgov. In last year's finals, Mozgov actually frustrated them at times. Mozgov can bully any of the remaining centers for GS and LeBron needs to play lights out defense against Green. JR Smith needs to start shooting and LeBron needs to keep making his jumpers. Irving is going to keep playing like he has all series, GS can't stop him. It's all going to come down to grit and not making mistakes.
Heard Tom Isso talking about Dramon on Mike and Mike, still doesn't change my opinion you don't accidentally hit guys in the seeds that often unless you are trying.
Disagree...although it all depends on what Cleveland does. If they get Mozgov involved not having Bogut could potential cause issues.
Bogut was killing us inside. LeBron on Draymond will be the storyline for game 6. And im with the masses, lets play Jefferson over KLove. Hes just not on right now.
I do not like LeBron but will respect him as a great player. However, he was not voted unanimously as the league MVP. I think if you went to re-vote this, Clay Thompson would be a higher consideration. I personally don't like having the MVP vote before the finals are over. The first 2 series of the playoffs, Steph Curry didn't look like the MVP to me. The main problem I have with the NBA is the officiating. Players like LeBron, Kobe, Steph and other top players get fouls called other players won't. In the other 3 major sports, MLB, NFL and NHL officiating is more consistent. I know refs won't always see everything but at least it seems more consistent for both teams. Kyrie was on point last night and the Cavs deserved to win that game. They outplayed and out hustled GS in the second half. Both teams have proven they can win on the road so it should be interesting going forward.
I actually think the opposite for LeBron, he rarely gets calls in his favor when he should get a lot more. Albeit these fouls are nothing compared to the fouls from 1990s NBA but they need to be consistent with the rest of the league and it isn't. For being the big fast drive to the hoop kind of player that he is, he gets fouled a lot more than most players. Curry definitely deserved the regular season MVP award, but these playoffs are proof (in my opinion) as to why it shouldn't have been unanimous. In regards to the Finals, so far, Irving is the clear Finals MVP followed by Thompson, LeBron, and then Curry.
Oh that's right they have a separate Finals MVP don't they. I would say Irving and Thompson are the 2 front runners so far.
If Lebron James averaged 22.2 points 5.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game in the finals so far he would be getting RIPPED more than he has already.
Lebron James is still the best all around player in the game. I still say this series is going 7 games. Draymond gets another flangerant foul and he'll be suspended another game so his defense is not gonna be as intense as usual. Cleveland will be at home, Curry has not himself as of late. To top it off no bogut. So this series is far from over.
Golden State will win out pretty ease. Best team of all-time; it's kind of like saying Ichiro Suzuki is the best hitter of all-time, not many will really believe it.
Statistically he's the best hitter in baseball history (Not MLB history though)....however statistically speaking Terry Bradshaw is the greatest QB ever....stats point but are no guarantee to truth for sure. I am one that actually thinks if Ichiro would have spent his entire career in the MLB he'd pushed Rose's hit record....we will never know though.
Mycal Thompson Clay's dad ripping on LeBron saying he would be destroyed playing 80's basketball is laughable. If you took all of the current NBA's stars and looked at them physically size wise, speed etc LeBron is probably the most physically able of the current batch to be able to deal with physical play of the 80's.
Mycal Thompson, his son and Draymon are the real b*tches! Klay cried the day before because he was fouled hard and it was dirty, Draymon cries after every foul and Klay's dad has always been a whiner. The second you say this team would beat the show time Lakers you lose all credibility.
