Yeah, he's just a liability on defense though. Even though Mozgov isn't that good on defense, he's a big body and I think the Cavs can slow them down a bit because they are getting beat up by Green and Iguodala in the paint. The splash brothers are going to do their thing and it can only be defended so well but if the Warriors win the 3 point line AND the paint, they have absolutely no chance. I honestly think if the Cavs played like they did in the last few games against the Hawks and the first few games against the Raptors, the Cavs could be up 3-1 right now. They were shooting 3 point magic and owned the paint. It's all about peaking at the right time and unfortunately they aren't hitting it against the Warriors.
Well unfortunately, JR is only JR when were up 15. Hes been playing some pretty good defense but his energy is spent and his offense suffers. I hate to say it but the problem is LeBron. He needs to sac up and play like an all time great. Drop 40 points. Start actually hitting jumpshots. Kyrie is doing everything he can and Love is struggling...LeBron needs to be LeBron.
Kyrie has far and away been the best player on the Cavs this series. LeBron looks awful. Warriors are going to lock it up tonight. Sorry Cleveland.
Another question, if the Cavs lose (as we all presume), do the Cavs lose any of their key players or do they try to build on it? Even LeBron admitted that it would take a few years to get it done, do you think Gilbert keeps spending the money?
Irving is shooting 42% in the series and all he does is shoot. He has dribbled down the court and taken a shot without passing the ball more times then the entire Warriors team combined. And he's only making 30% of those attempts. Isn't he supposed to be a point guard?
It looks like the NBA is doing what it can to make sure the series goes at least another game. Its gonna be up to the CAVS to take advantage of this gift as well as any others they may get/need during tonights game.
If they just get their 3 game back and LeBron can make his jumpers then they have a shot. If they steal this one and get back home, they can shift the momentum of the entire series. But, this is Cleveland we're talking about and I'm not holding my breath.
I would have thought the same thing but looks like Cavs may pull this one out tonight. Kyrie has been money down the stretch and GS's shooting is terrible. 2 min left and LeBron and Kyrie both have 41 points. Tough to beat that on any court.
The Cavs still need to figure out what to do about Draymond Green if they want to have a chance. He's playing lights out defense in the paint and he he's always good for 15 points.
Anybody notice that the difference in the game was Drymond's 15 a game average.... And that is after Kyrie and the Queen put up 41 a piece.... Just gotta say that any respect I once had for Lebron is tarnished after Green's suspension. I hope GS routes the Cav at home!
You can not blame Lebron for Dramon being an idiot, he got suspended for the 4 other big T's to go with his jackass behavior.
GS missed Green's defense more than anything. Although, GS did shoot awfully in the second half. Green earned that suspension so not understanding the Lebron comment? Green was lucky it didn't happen sooner with all the times he has kicked, knee'd or punched guys in the balls during the playoffs. Cleveland played well and deserves credit for the win last night.
4 technical fouls isn't a coincidence. Green is a dirty player with at least 3 groin shots in these playoffs. How can you explain that? LeBron does annoy me at times with his jump shot and complaining to the officials (which he does get fouled more than anyone else), but he IS still the best player in the NBA....41 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks? I was impressed last night...hopefully they can keep it rolling to a game 7.
Cleveland won't shoot that good for 3 straight games....GSW won't shoot that bad for 3 straight games....GSW still takes it but it got interesting now.
