I think most younger people don't realize Rush was the first breath of fresh air that the 53% have ever had and then the fox news program. That's why these became such huge hits over night. Leftist media is all we had and they still control 90+% of all news and magazines.

Just funny to hear liberals attack the only one new station thats not liberal, foxnews.

I didn't say they don't influence anyone...sure they do(same as the mainstream liberal media influences all the sheeple), and I also sure they influence people like you to vote against thier chosen candidates or referendums they support. I only said they aren't what makes any of the guys 'on here'(specifically those responding to your speil) vote the way they do. See what tfox said - covers it pretty well and I pesonally disagree with a lot of what Rush and Becks speil is all about or at least the way they go overboard with it - which is why I haven't watched or listened to them hardly at all in well over 10 yrs. I concur with Afflicted in the last post...the polititions, companies, and unions aren't there watching out for 'your' best interests...they are watching out for thier 'own'. BTW - the unions got thier first foot in the door in MI in the copper mines in "la la land" as you called the U.P. which predominantly votes democrat.

So now you speak for the 53% and all conservatives? I have been in the 53% and a conservative a lot longer than you and you, limbaugh and faux news hardly speak for me. They may speak for neo-con @ss clowns but they do not speak for the 53% nor do they speak for conservatives. If they did romney would have won.

Rush in the 90's when he had his tv show was different than now. Rush, progressive Ed, fox and msnbc are laughing all the way to the bank.

53% make up a bunch of teachers, policemen, firemen and union workers, because they make too much correct;).

Yep. That was my point. Don't listen to Rush or Beck either but I understand why so many do. That was the point I was making.

I don't believe our 24/7 news is really about wanting to get vital news to the people but about keeping us wringing our hands about the world so they can sell more ads. ie fill their pockets and provide a better life for their family's.

I try to do the same. Ignore the hype and focus on your own world and what your responsible for. But that's me.

I think rush, Beck and Orielly and been seduced by their own sucess and are now shock jocks like most of media.

Easy on them Gary, I was going to say that in my first post along with republican women have abortions. only 4% more attend church and only 13% ( this number is shrinking every year) more own guns but I was afraid some of them would implode.
Hell, I dont even know a democrat that does not own a gun including my 87 year old neighbor lady!

It's because they have high paying union jobs and can afford guns. Or, because they live off welfare and have a lot of spare time to go to the range. I learned that from Rush. He's awesome and I believe everything he says. Same goes for Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Salt of the earth type gal there that never tells a lie.

Looks like your buddy Rush forgot to tell you about 40% of those on welfare vote republican, alot of them from the high poverty right to work states, but thats what he does.

Debby is a nice lady but forget about her, Michele the Corndog/Welfare queen is more your party line. Her family collected a million dollars in corporate welfare over a 10 year period and would snatch the WICK milk right out of a childs mouth.

This proves you know absolutely nothing about my party line. I thought it was pretty obvious I was joking about Rush. I really dont care for his rhetoric. He is so over the top that even when he does make a good point, it gets largely ignored. If you want to look at corporate welfare, look no further than Nancy Pelosi's husband and her family interests in manufacturing. Offshore ofcourse. Always two sides to the corruption. You will never win that fight. Neither side will. I am also smart enough to recognize Michele B as an idiot. Your assumptions do fit the stereotype I have you figured for quite well though.

John I work with union workers in all trades, everyday, for 20+ years, never ever seen one get violent, just the opposite. You my friend need to get out from behind the computer screen, turn off FauxNews and live a little, get out and talk to people. Don't judge all from this incident. Just think if I thought of you as a McDonalds employee or a Walmart greeter because you are not in a Union, that would make me...well, like you, ignorant, no thanks! if you think all Union people are like this well you are blind.

But where are the rest of the union workers standing up and saying this is wrong, that looks like stuff that happens in third world countries, and the camera didn't deter them a bit, any apologies?

If these were my coworkers I would be ashamed.
