Player introductions (self-introductions), tonight (Saints v. Queens).....some player gives his name and lists "The real UT" as his alma mater. The lunacy continues! What does this mean?
Actually I believe Texas refers to themselves as The Real UT. Being a Tennessee fan I've never heard it referred to that way.
It could also be a Texas A&M aggie or a longhorn from UT. They have this thing going on about THE,(pronounced THEE), university of Texas. down here it is a big rivalry about which school is the premiere Texas public university.

I did like that two Viking's Defensive guys named their Highschool - this mean they were undrafted or too embarrassed of their college?
There were a lot more than 2 (overall) that listed their HS's. I'd like to know the real reason why they did that. Heck....coming from a really small school says TONS of your abilities. I don't think they're ashamed.
That was funny. The announcers said his wife is attending a culinary institute. You have half the guys mucking it up (it seems) and then you have the 2Pac wannabe crowd. Both are equally funny.

That you talk trash of other universities student athletes or X student athletes for the way they address their university, while "your" university is being investigated for skeletons in their football programs closet. It is just funny you are nit picking these kids / men while your kids / men are out breaking NCAA rules. Nothing more, nothing less. You see, it doesn't bother me to say that OSU lost. They have lost two hundred and some other games as well.
Hey...I don't have a Univ. that I'm rabid about.....including the two I attended. So, the "Yeah, but your school did this" dog won't hunt. Next. If you're here to stir up crap, move on.
