Yeah I'm trying to decide if he'd be big enough to get mounted. That's the baseline I use to decide whether or not i'm going to shoot one.

Chart33 that really sucks about your trip!!!

I would agree that buck is around 125.

Well I grunted in a basket 7 pointer last night. This guy came in on a string to pass by me at 8 yards, only took him 3 minutes. From the time I hung the grunt tube, saw him at about 100 yards and he walked passed. Hopeful it doesn't rain this afternoon so I can sit again.

    Congrats on the doe!

I'm still taking that week off from work to hunt hard. Im taking the money I'm saving by not taking the trip to put up 2 hang ons in mass. I'm trying to figure out where that big 8 is coming on the property.

Yes she was BIG!!! On the hoof she was right at 160lbs. Didn't weigh her dressed. The drag out was fun, 400 yards. I need one of those game carts I think, haha.

Thats great about Kansas! I hope you get on some good deer there. Good luck!

She was a big one, nice job again. Good luck in Kansas, hope you get a big one. I'm hunting near home Friday A.M., then heading to northern Wisconsin for a couple of days of big woods hunting. Then back home to hunt all next week, looking for the Booner buck that's on my trail cam.

Dang Eric, are you sure you didn't accidentally shoot a horse?!?

After tomorrow I'm off almost 8 of the next 9! Should make for some good hunting.

    Good luck in Kansas dmen.

Tomorrow morning starts the season hard. I'm off the next 8 of 9 days. Sunday I'll be at an entirely new spot I've never seen so hopefully it works out.

Nice! i had a pretty good sit this morning. A little 6 pointer came in, crossed my entrance path and busted me out. But then I passed on a little doe. I took a shot at a coyote but got a branch, he got lucky. Trashed my bloodrunner though. It's time to hit it hard now so I'm pretty pumped.
