My family had it's annual christmas party this weekend. No gifts exchanged other than gift bags from santa.

To add, we adopt a family every year and sometimes two.

    Here's my immediate family.

My grandmother with all her children. Minus the 2 that have already passed. (They are holding pictures of them, my mother passed last Christmas) she had 19 and I can't figure out who is the one missing . lol

    My daughter was Mary

This made my 89 year old grandmother tear up but it didn't keep her from dancing.

Thanks, my daughter's boyfriend came to this party and he commented that he had never seen family be like this.

She said he teared up and said he probably won't see most of his family again now that his mother has passed away.

We always open the gifts on the 24th and spend the 25th as a day of family fellowship and remembering the real reason for the season, the birth of the Christ child.
