Welcome rkloehn. Nice job so far guys! I think things are going to pick up soon, both the corn and the beans are really starting to get harvested around here. Great weather for farming but a little on the warm side to be in a stand.
Well guys this weekend is the youth hunt so I won't be any help this weekend inless I get somthing Saturday with a gun ill pull out the bow on Sunday and yea where um hunting I'm hoping the corn will be down so hopfully they will be moving allitle more. And WELOCOME to the team
It has been WAY too warm in Illinois this week. The deer haven't been moving. I will be going back out this evening and trying my luck once again. Good luck to everyone!
Hey guys just wanted to let you know I shot a yearling this morning and that gives us another 50 pts. Hope everyone else is doing good! I haven't been seeing a ton due to the really warm weather we've been having. I will be back at it this evening trying to shoot another!
Well my dad got a 7 pointerr at 7 o clock my uncle missed an 8 pointer and I missed an oprotunity at a 10 pointer with a gun. Hopefully I get it done. Tonight I'll post pictures tomorw good luck everyone
just thinking about how many points we are going to need to win. Last year's top score was around 1150 total points. So if we all put down at least 2 deer (100 points each) we'll more than likely take the crown. Of course some of us will put down some MONSTERS this season so THE MORE POINTS THE BETTER!! Let's all shoot for at least 1 doe and 1 buck!!

MUST HAVE 2 pictures of you with your deer and your archery equipment 2. MUST HAVE date and time the deer was harvested! 3. FOR BUCKS please give a points breakdown or you will only get 50 points. - If you have any questions on how to score your buck feel free to send me a PM or check in the WHITETAILS HUNTING FORUM for a sticky thread on the correct process. Best of luck this season and let's go collect some BONE!!
Hey there I haven't heard too much from many of you on how your season is going....Anyone got any good sightings of bucks yet?
yeah I've got a couple nice 130 class bucks I've stumbled upon. Too bad it won't count for the contest since I'm already tagged out for bucks. This weekend hopefully will be DOOMSDAY for them.
Yeah I have been seeing a ton of little deer so far. Two nice bucks have come out but both have came out of timber right before it is completely dark and have given me no chance to shoot one of them....yet
the weather has been terrible by me, doing more duck hunting that anything. probably going to pick it up around end of month. i have a bunch of days off in november!!!!
Nice job to the killers on team 12 already this year!! You guys rock. My season is just gonna get going boys! Spent the last week in Ontario with Dan but had nothing going up there. Heading to northern WI on Monday for a spell and then IL the following week so hoping for some blood on the ground! I'll keep you posted.

Haven't been able to get into the stand much over the past several days. Went out yesterday evening and only saw two does run by my stand because they had been alerted somewhere else and ran by. I am hoping with the cooler front that came in last night that deer will be on their feet and ready to walk by my stand!
Too bad you can't enter more than one doe! I had a great rainy evening here in central Illinois! It started pouring about 4:20 this afternoon so when I got off at 4:30 I wasn't particularly excited about sitting in the rain! I made it into my stand just before 5:00 pm. It was raining pretty good so I stood up in my stand and huddled close to the tree. At 5:30 I had four does come out into the field and then ran right up to my stand. The 3rd one was the biggest so I waited for the first two to walk by and shot this big doe! There was a small buck with it as well but I am not in the game to shoot little bucks. Hopefully with this cooler weather we're supposed to have the deer will continue to move! Hope you all are having some good luck too!!
