Most positive thing about cell phones I do not have to answer the house phone and talk to a deaf inlaw for 20 minutes.

Hahaha. My mother in law rarely calls.

But she does ***** if she doesn't hear from my wife....

Of course she NEVER checks her voice mail. And never answers her cell.

But my wife never calls according to her.

    Which version would you prefer?

When my phone rings it is 99.95% likely to be spam.

The other .05% actually makes me scared to answer as it is usually some sort of bad news.

Most of my conversations are via text, and I'm fine with that. Back when bills were calculated by minutes of phonecalls I had literally 3 minutes or less of calls. Once they went unlimited texts it was game over.

    "Engineers"

**** (some of)them egotistical assholes, I will risk my job by refusing to work with the self profound savior(s) of a company.

I've never been closer to punching someone in my life than earlier this afternoon.

Told my supervisor I will never work with this individual again. Mark my words that it will be a true statement.

Looks like I'll stay on the cold side and moatly snow.

Models showing anywhere from 7 - 27" Wed. and Thurs. Think it will be more in the 7-12" range unless we can get a full fledged blizzard out of it then could see nearer to 20".

I'm going to hate the cold behind it most of all.

Thinking about pushing and shoveling a mound of snow on top of the two dirt piles for a slow soaking when it warms up. Not sure how much it will help but can't imagine it would hurt.

Engineer is an over statement. He's a programmer for CNC machining, enters print dimensions into a program and it writes everything out. His title is glorified by the companies choice of naming the department.

Didn't even go into work today as I don't think it would have went well for either of us.

Does the organization let the machinists change programs or is the 'engineer' the all-knowing Subject Matter Expert?

Clarify your point and I can answer it better.

If you work under the title of engineer and are offended it is not meant at you, my "rant" is at my job and their assigned title.

Former best friend I have not talked to in 5 years had his house broken into.

They entered through a window either in front of the house or caddie corner to the window between 2 houses in the driveway.

Stolen were an AK-47, AR-15, Mossberg 12 gauge, Glock .45 and Taurus 9mm.

Without questioning I'm guessing they were all stored under a bed or in a closet.

They were his step sons guns, step son being mid 20's.

Doors were all locked, and friendly dogs inside. Pug type dog, puppy Aussie dog and a friendly mutt rescued from the pound.

They think the dogs deterred the theft from going beyond the entry bedroom.

I say they knew and got what they want from the point of entry and needed not go further.

The thief(or thieves) are a "friend" of the son or someone bragging about the guns.
