Property owners in Minnesota are required to clear sidewalks that border their property, some cities will hand out citations if sidewalks are not cleared.
That is a valid point but then again I am thrifty and would have done the same and dealt with the consequences.
Below zero weather. It was -30 here this morning. Not wind chill, actual temp. I hope it was the last of the super cold snaps for the season. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
Not at all, I see it all the time other places. Just an eyesore that bugs me, feel like I should have a car on blocks in the front yard, front door off the hinges and dog chained to a stake. Spring/Summer it would be done already, but not working frozen ground by hand.
Yeah sucks been cold a while the one day of the week end it warmed to the 20's the wind was blowing. Chihuahua hates it too. Dog piss on the patio within 10 feet of the door told the wife that was why I did not shovel the white **** up after the last snow when it got bitter cold.
it was -10 here this AM, my dog did same thing. I let them out and went into the bathroom to take my first wizz of the day and he was already banging on the back door to come back in before I was even finished. My wife hates it that I don't shovel the back deck, at least once a winter this happens and I have to point out that if I did there would be frozen pisscicles and puddles all over the back deck. At least the snow keeps it from pooling.
My wife suggests I go out with them to shoo them into the yard and keep them from scratching at the door to get in. She does that from from bed of course, when she hears me yelling thru the door at them.
Got home and had a letter in the box from Dept. of Utilities. They wanted to let me know they discovered high water usage blah blah blah. Then said if I had a leak and get it repaird within 30 days I could get a partial adjustment. Had to send them a copy of the invoice for repair. Hell even if they only do 50% still be about $70-75 credit. Next above freezing day I'm going to shovel the dirt off the manhole cover so they can get up to date reading next read date.
Did a water lateral inspection yesterday, permit had price for job, maybe 50' of 1" copper and core drill slab to get new line in, old line ran under slab to middle of house, so plumber had to rework line into house, over $7000, trench was filled and tamped, know contractor will come back in spring and seed.
In the real cold weather I only have to watch my female dog. Sometimes she tries to come back in without going. I yell through the door then she goes. They both pee along the edges of the driveway where I've plowed. Never on the deck or porch. They both go to the lawn area or woods for #2. Thank goodness. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
couple years back I told her she has 2 hands and knows where the shovel is. She said yes I do and I have noticed you sleep very soundly. I made my point, she made hers. The back porch stays snowy until nature takes care of it.
Ha that's warm... I posted on here a pic of the boys ice fishing the other day.... Today my email blew up with fishing and ice fishing adds
I'm sick to death of seeing particular people out here in the country walking a long the roads with back packs. I say this having g never seen this EVERY outing and in Subzero temps. If they were working the dairy farms...they'd actually be at work. Also the farmers actually drive them to and from towns in groups to shop. It avoids problems, with the locals.
It was 16 at 6:30 this morning-yesterday -17 at the same time. What did I see on the way to work? Some idiots wearing shorts and riding his bicycle to work...
