It's freaking scammers for me. I get 2 to 3 calls a day about my "vehicles extended warranty about to expire". I used to always ignore the call and then block the number, but that does no good since they hijack the numbers, so now I answer every one of them I can and hit the button to get the live person. As soon as they come on they ask for your vehicle's VIN number. Sometimes I ask them how they know my warranty is about to expire if they don't even know what vehicle I have and they immediately hang up, or I try to sound like a young kid that can't even drive yet, or a really old person that is senile. They get excited when they think they're on the phone with an old person that might be gullible, you can hear it in their voice. You can string them along for quite a while. You'd think they'd figure out the person at my number always screws with them, but they just keep calling.
My BIL makes it a game (or used to) to see how long he can keep them on the call. I don't have that sort of time. If you're not in my contacts, you're going to voicemail.
I feel like I got suckered into a client proposal. About 120 slides and 6 hours of presentation today... And it feels like the client is fishing for free information...
I called at least a dozen eye specialists this morning. No one has an appt available til Feb. Finally some lady said she would put me on a wait list with a possibility of tomorrow after I told her my eye is going haywire. It got worse this morning. Starting to scare me
Well finally somebody took me on an emergency basis. The doctor said that I have a vitreous hemorrhage in my right eye. That's fancy for some of the jelly and blood in my eye leaking by my retina. Puts me at some risk for the detach retina in the future but as of now I said it looks pretty good and it should resolve.
We've warmed up to...-2 . I also had to tell hubby to come into the bathroom last night... WHAT!??? Listen.......drip,drip,drip.....in the ceiling. Yes sir, I see the direction 2022 is going already....
My dogs got up on the counter and ate the leftover sushi. Not been a good day with their digestive tracts. Dang it... Now I'm hearing continual farts
-45 2 hour late school start in the morning, sucks that it is that cold, sucks that some adults think kids are that soft. It is -45 with the windchill not actual air temperature, it will only be -16.
