And one last factor... Don't think that leaf blower would be necessary... 20220113_203626.jpeg

When I was stationed in Colorado Springs, it was like that when it snowed a quarter inch. Drive like its still summer.

One year, my mom flew with my grand mother so she could stay with my uncle in Denver. I went to pick up my mom and it was snowing when we got back to Co Springs. There was an accident at every intersection that had a traffic light.

Mom says, don't they know it's winter?

Yup, mom, they know. They just don't care.

Sounds like it was the guy that logged our woods. He packed up and moved a tad west... toward your area. His name started with a "T"

I shoulda' had you with us when we 'negotiated' our timbering. We got what we deserved due to us never having anything like that done before. Ugh.

Neighbor is headed for Arizona went over told him I would take care of snow, he said you can use the side by side, I said no for sure I would tear something up. Plus I have never plowed snow so it would be a clown show.

Ugh, someone accessed my amazon account. Happened at 8pm last night but didn't notice until about an hour ago.

Immediately changed my password and got on chat as I could not see the purchase, digital video, in my order history. Turns out there are different order categories.

Sing 2, $24.99, don't even know what the eff that is. Got it all refunded, but they said it was made from my firestick, which is impossible as both of mine are unplugged sitting on a counter. I don't recall ever returning one that could have had my info still on it.

Got it refunded and used Amazon's security feature that will log you out of all devices except the one you are using.

They are pretty easy to use and quite efficient. A lot of people use them now days.

Maybe you'll like it so much that you will want to buy one.

Punctuality, it says a lot about you.

Supposed to be having the waterline installed today. Asked him what time they would be starting. 8am, 8:15 at the latest.

No one has shown up. No call, just sitting here in limbo not getting paid wondering if they are going to show up or not. Was nothing mentioned at all about weather being a factor. It's a large company, not like it is some rinky dink outfit.

Well, we did have weather all day yesterday. In fact 6" in spots (near the house, drift + sleet from the roof). Generally about 2" where the wet stuff settled and then set up overnight.

Told my oldest to go shovel it this morning... He didn't, figured he'd do it when he got home. So I busted out half the drive in ~15-20 minutes and 0 salt needed. Once you got under it, it came up on sheets... I know he will spend twice the amount of time, this afternoon, on the other half and use a bag of salt.

I am not trying to tell you how to live your life but just shovel the snow and but the salt on the residual snow and ice.

Yeah, we don't get "snow" like you really know it... It's like that real wet stuff you get early/late...

3 days and it's gone anyway... Regardless of whether you shovel or not.

Oh a since this is a heavy banking city, it's closed due to mlk... If the snow persists on the ground tomorrow, most people will still work from home.
