If I get one I want to have it mounted, need a permit to get that done. The odds of me actually killing one are very low. Think it would be fun to try though, both trapping and trying to pattern for a bow shot.
@PinkPony Based upon the comparison of these two photos, I would say Bobcat. A big mature one that is worth mounting if you want a Bobcat, but just a bobcat. A cougar would both longer and taller in comparison, a lynx would look taller than the cat in your picture.
Tried to do something in paint, images aren't 1:1 same scale with one being a screenshot. Matched up as close as possible though.
The" used car salesman" of loggers. Geez showed up late yesterday. Won't deep dive conversation sum it up with a British slang..."twat" I had to call neighbor, found out he didn't actually hire guy and didn't realize he marked up trees. Went down ""property line" with flagging and paint. You stand back looking down his path and it looks like zig zag stitching. Tells me in conversation well we'll stay back 5 fleet. How did you find line? Oh with my cell phone. I had to explain to the neighbor if this guy went off tax map info He needs to understand we have certified abstracts for all our properties and surveys that went off those abstracts. The tax maps have us,for example ...with 398 ft. of road front when it's actually 411ft. Go off a stake say a little on one end of a half mile and your way off by ft at the other end of said 1/2 mile. We've had to go through this with 3 neighbors and had to get our surveyors back up here to mark line ,the entire line, every 100 ft. This is getting old. EVERY single time they've magically jumped up to mark 1-2 giant veneer maple. Which every time had to be painted with a GIANT DO NOT CUT. 5 ft WTH!
Ugh, I think I have a busted waterline or worse. Sump pump just continues to pump out water. Have to wait for next water bill to see if average usage has increased. I just hope it is not something drain related under the basement floor. From ehat I can tell it is coming in from the bottom of the sump not from foundation drain tiles. I have no idea on where to begin on something like this. Guess it is with the water bill and seeing if it is leaking before coming into the house or when leaving. Nit sure if there is an easy way to test water in the sump/discharge to see if it is chlorinated or not?
It's definitely pumping water, there's an ice slick in the gutter from the discharge down 3 driveways. It's what made me notice it, thought it was due to rain New Years day but now I'm thinking there is a leak somewhere. I need to pull the manhole cover and see if there is a leak indicator on the meter.
Clint try contacting your local dept of public works, ours has a "listening device" that they attach to water lateral, as long as everything is off in house , they will know if you have leak. Dont wait till next bill, like you said everything from water meter is yours, including wasted leaking water. Hear calls all the time about $1000.00 water bills.
I agree, contact your local office and see if the water-works department can come out and check. I'd rather have it diagnosed now, opposed to a huge water bill.
yeah brother, if your water fees are anything like mine I would definitely not wait 3 weeks to find out; plus your pump is like as not to burn out and then you are EFFED.
Would be about the same timeframe regardless, was hoping it would be updated online but not yet. Should be pretty easy to tell, usually in the 2 to 3 units. My sump has always pumped a loy of water the nearly 11 years I've been here, but never really paid attention to it. Hoping it's just a fluke of some sort. Bad thing is I don't know how to tell if it is something under the basement floor that is leaking from drain pipes.
This is going to get tedious. When I go in the basement where the water comes in I can hear a slight hiss like water is moving. Watch the leak detection dial and it barely moves every 30-50 seconds or so. When I flush the toilet it spins like crazy. Wrote down all the numbers and will do so again before I leave for work in the morning and check when I get back home. I cannot find any leaks inside the basement. Most of the plumbing is exposed, what is finished runs in the ceiling above drywall so a leak would be noticeable. Went outside and cleared the discharge at the curb. Walked up to the house and it is damp where the line comes out. Last year the connection came apart at the house by an inch. They did not glue the PVC piping together. I can see why where it comes out of the house, it busts there and you have to replace it down to the pumps. Doesn't look fun. Anyhow, as a quick fix I bought a rubber sleeve and hose clamps, it's actually for piping the intercooler or something on a turbo, but would suffice as a quick fix. Didn't last long. Pump kicked on while I was watching and I'd bet half the pumped water leaked out right there, it just filters back down and into the sump again. Couldn't get the manhole cover off the street meter, too cold and dark to mess with tonight. The connection at the house. This spring I'll be digging a portion up and making a more permanent fix. Can see how wet the ground is and pumping often ebough to keep it from freezing in below freezing temps. Home ownership sucks sometimes.
Every Peloton commercial. Ultra happy fake positive people. " come on warriors you can do it this fine day". Shut up
Was that an actual fernco fitting or an actual car part. I've had good luck with fernco plumbing fittings. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
