Respooling my ice fishing reel with 4 pound test fluorocarbon line, trying to the knots with line you can't see, then trying to tie on the tiny jig it was frustrating. To top it off I put my jig box out on the patio opened it up to charge the glow jigs, and thought nothing about it till after 2" of snow blew in.
Cheaters any help? I had my son (with young eyes) help me with the fly reel last night. Will be hitting the mountain streams on Thurs... Been a while since I've been fly fishing...
Fired up the snowblower, I hate blowing snow. We got a lot with plenty of wind too. I still made it to work at 6:40.
Fired mine up too. We got somewhere around a foot of snow with this last blast last night. Worked out perfect. Beat the cold temps moving in. Wind was a bit raw though on the face.
We only got about 4" of heavy snow. It sucks plowing that stuff. I plowed for a bit over 4 hours today. My wife handles the snowblower for the walkways while I plow. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
At v least the feds stopped their purchase of sportsmans warehouse... That also sells cheap Chinese garbage. :eyeroll:
I was looking for a pair a warm mittens that will last more than one winter. Sorry there is no pair of gloves that will keep my hands warm when it is below zero outside. Will see if Ronnings has what I want.
Taking some CBTs... I thought the computer generated audio was horrible and couldn't get worse...wrong! Now listening to one, the script apparently written by a person from India. I think I'm a generally tolerant person, but 12 seconds in, this is going to be painful...
The mittens pictured below belonged to my father. When he passed away I kept them. No telling how old they are but he had them for quite a few years before I got them. They're the warmest thing I've ever worn on my hands. They have a wool lining and a pair of wool knit liners. I use them when plowing snow on my open cab tractor. They make your hands hot! A pair of choppers, I have a pair minus the wool lining, my liners that I bought are not wool may be the problem.
I can't say for durability as I've only had them a few weeks but they've been really warm so far. I've had good luck with ice armor gloves as well. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
It's supposed to end by 9 pm by me. It's supper fine flakes so it's not accumulating fast. Might get 6". Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
Your wife will not complain about the patio being too small again after she shovels it off a couple times.
