All is good here after the storm. Neighbor lost a small garden shed but that seems to be about it. Rain, freezing rain and then snow on top of 60mph winds - got lucky.

Snow is all gone except for a couple of piles from plowing. Still blowing like crazy here and all the rain has dried up. The wind sucked the cover off of my weber grill last night which surprised me as it is a snug fit. During a lull in the storm I went out with a spotlight and retrieved it from around my satellite post and brought it inside. No damage found yet.

At the company Christmas party, they just had a custom smoker built and using it fir the second time. Did prime rib and chicken along with a shrimp boil. Don't do shrimp, but prime rib and chicken was on point.

Now for the rant, when serving prime rib for a catered setting. Have decent cutting style plastic knives, not some cheap barely cuts butter 4" long and serrated for an inch crap.

They way over bought, so I'm taking about 2 1/2lbs back home with me so all is not lost.

I hear you. I called for a price on LP and a fill. The price was $1.99/gal. Will be the most I've paid in a long time.

Fuel oil? That's how I heat...want to say it was pretty close to that when I filled back in October. I dread filling again next month. But, thankfully. I only fill roughly 3 times a year.

We just got our fuel tank filled for the furnace. P40 was $2.97. I would guess red #2 is 20 cents cheaper then P40 here. Got cold weather coming so had to go with P40. We have an outside tank otherwise we could run #2 all winter.

The company I work for started a new thing. They give out gift cards on your anniversary month. 10.00 for every year. Another incentive to get people to stay. Mine is December. 23 years. Yay! 230 bucks! Figured it would be a Visa gift card.

NOPE! 10 Random cards to restaurants. Some I never heard of and 20 miles away and others I wouldn't eat at if you were paying. WTF?

My Daughter trolled her own Dad. She does not appreciate my Packer influence on my Grandson, the share of the Packer stock, Packer hats, teaching him to say Go Pack Go etc. My son in law told me that they watched the Packer game Sunday, he said I bet you were pissed during the first half. I was pissed because my least favorite Packer was playing like crap. This is her 2nd child, the # 2 is significant. She named her son Mason, a name I usually spit out like a swear word. Could have been worse they could have named him Brett.

We had over a foot of snow on the ground after the storm on Saturday. The high winds and rain melted 85% of the snow.

My niece is moving back from Florida. She and her husband are going to stay in my mom and dads house while they look for a place to buy.

Was stressing over where I was going to put all the snow so that they could have 4 5x8 pods dropped in the yard. Not such a worry now. LOL

And that leads to a rant about a sister that thinks she can go into the house ANY time she wants when they are their because she is an "owner" of the house. Sorry kid, you are the beneficiary of the trust the house is in. Mom is the owner. I am mom's POA as well as the Trustee.

My sister is butt hurt she cant get her way.

I'm she will have her hand out for her share and do nothing to help clean the house and get it ready for sale.

She has alluded to having a lawyer at her ready should she not get what she wants. LOL. Good luck with that!. Guess she didn't read the trust document. Mom and dad included a clause that a beneficiary can't sue. Best she can do is get into arbitration. She will surely be surprised when I submit my claim for expenses-should she decide to continue down this road.

Sorting thru aged receivables to clean up warranty replacements. Customer has a problem component we send a replacement they send the failed component we us an RGA process to track. I discovered that there was no mechanism or process in place to close out the invoice and cost of replacement of the RGA. I am going back 3 plus years to reconcile. Needs to be done, I like sorting thru the numbers. It keeps me from walking thru the warehouse and freak out about the $ sitting waiting to get shipped. There was a project sitting in staging big multiple pump project close to $90,000 it sat there since monday this morning I checked what the deal is. Waiting for $30 worth of fuses, can't be tested with out the fuses, nothing ships till it is tested. That is the supply chain BS that sucks, that project's profits are getting lowered every day we wait.
