There is none of that nonsense up in the front of the plane. I would not fly if I had to ride in back.

I will say, that is better than landing with the clap.....

4 flights that may have warranted clapping, yet, I still didn't : engine blew, weren't sure the landing gear locked, abandoned take off, almost hit a plow in a blizzard at ord pilot pulled & throttled up and went around. Oh, yeah... Bonus #5, I guess the plane that crashed like minutes before we took off... Though we didn't know till we landed...

 

why does Verizon think ads with this crazy bug-eyed rugamuffin tromping around in high heels like an elephant with a spear up it's butt makes me want to buy one of their cell phones/service?

Not really a rant, but.

My parents were in a catastrophic car wreck on Friday. I know people sometimes say this lightly, but it’s really a miracle they are still Alive.

My dad was bruised up pretty good, but otherwise unharmed.

My mom is in critical condition, but stable. No signs of brain injury, or internal bleeding. But her legs are… really bad. Like, to the point where she may not walk again.

I thank God they are alive at all, they were in a head on collision with another car who was estimated to be doing 80mph, they were doing 10-20

Damn, sorry to hear that. Wishing a speedy recovery to them both.

 

I sure hope your parents make a full recovery and that the driver of the other car get prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

If you are in HR and you have new hires starting on a Monday, get your azz to work on time. Wonder why there is a tardiness issue when hew hires see it on day 1. I am pissed

ok, so if this is so important to the company, you're going to help clear hurdles right? Like getting the internal BS approvals, chargeability, explain to my current project/client, etc. right?
