So the leaf blowers ,my old backpack, Hubbys brand new best stihl commercial one have been in the repair shop 3x' s in the last month. The good thing in this, the place was broken into and their entire store was wiped out shelves cleaned bare. Our blowers were not touched because of repair tickets.. So finally figured it out. the gas. We use the correct gas and oil. He also uses an additive additive in it. What was finally found was a strange film on the filters blocked fuel. This could be froma number of things 1. The gas it's self Days before hubby bought the gas I had been shopping and they had the entire station taped off and working on the tanks. 2. A problem with the addative He has been using this for many years and its a good brand 3, A break down, for some reason , of the plastics can Everything was replaced and he got both working I tell you this because if you guys have a issue with your small engines....look to your tank filters, it can't be seen well. but you can feel it.
I use Startron fuel additive I used it in all my antique outboards, and small engines. We used little 4 stroke honda pumps when I worked fires, every 20 hours of operation the carbs had to be disassembled and cleaned. I brought some startron in to try and problem solved. I always run the fuel out of a 4 stroke before I shut it down.
I use seafood and premium unleaded gas in all my small engines and 4 strokes. Carburetor troubles have disappeared.
Would that be farm raised or wild caught seafood?...Lol Our wasn't a carb problem it was blockage from in tank filter. No fuel getting to carb.
I'll have to try dropping a shrimp into my fuel tanks before storage, thanks for the advice BnB. I like seafoam too, use it in everything for storage. But it doesn't work well if the fuel has ethanol in it. I only run non ethanol premium in my snowmobile, chainsaws, and weedeater so they just get some seafoam added the last time I use them to ensure it is clear through the fuel lines and carbs. The atv's, generator, and lawnmower get switched over to non ethanol premium the last few uses and then the last fill up is treated with seafoam.
The only tank I'm putting Seafood in is my stomach! Lol I only run non ethanol premium gas in all of my small engines. I've done so for at least the last 10 years maybe longer. I've never bought or used an additive and have never had a problem.

We would have but for what it required to buy early we do not buy enough to qualify. We use propane for the gas fireplace and the back up furnace that's all. Heck the only time the propane furnace is on is when I test it in the fall. I also get a discount price and a rapid pay discount from the COOP. I know the manager pretty well I babysit her kid from time to time.
I have a rant but it could be a million $ idea. Can we build a toaster that has a GD timer on it so I know exactly how long it is going to take for my toast to be done?
Dear Lord I try to be patient. We had to hire a furnace company to check furnace. We have it checked oiled and cleaned yearly. I open the door and there stsnds a masked child. Really he looked a whole 16. Hubby goes down with him and comes back to say..on the job a,whopping 6 mos. I tell hubby Keep an eye on him. 45 years ago I dated a guy that worked for that company when they were still small.. He's going to find problems. JC! , Not 5 mins. and we risk monoxide poisoning. Then he disappears out side and is on the phone with his supervisor. Tells us he doesn't need to call fire department now, but needs to put a warning on ticket. Hubby says what's the reading? 1.3. What's the max allowed....Well 9. So I wait a bit and go do laundry. So you went to school at such and such...yes mam...I figured because our son went there for 2yrs,for HVAC. He's now in construction because he didn't like it. The kids face about fell off. Next thing I know he's back on the phone. He finishes up and tune now is... well the furnace is in really good shape, no corrosion,all wire in good shape. Motors and fans good, those were replaced in last 2 years. I just hate certain predictable things...I kinda felt bad for the kid because he is being told to do this BS. Boy did he push the whole " Need " for a new furnace.
Contractors, do I look like a ***** to you? Then why are you trying to F me? Dealing with 2 contracts with 1 contractor and a single contract with another. These clowns told me that they do not submit final payment until they receive a signed lien waver, see that is not how lien waivers work, if I sign it before I get paid what is the motivation for them to pay?
You all seeing this crap about Epstein and the FBI searching his home? They get a search warrant to search his 40 bedroom home. But for whatever reason dont have the sw tailored to seize digital data contained in thumb drives and video tapes that they found after sawing into a safe. So the FBI leaves the premises without any of that vast digital data and then quickly obtains a sw for the digital and video data. They return to the residence hours later and all of that evidence is gone. So they call Epsteins lawyer and his lawyer brings the FBI "all" the evidence instead of the fbi sitting on the house and seizing it themselves. The fix is in protecting the Clintons and others.
