Good thing I assembled the tractor before the Grandson was here, That tractor is not a john deer is is a !@#$%^&*() tractor. Funny my wife was scolding me as I cursed, I got done and told her she could do the stickers, she was cursing within 5 minutes.
Shoveled all the concrete off today first time of the winter today, another year older another year of hating winter more.
Don't know if anybody has had to buy or price pediatric medical mobility products...wow! Even used, wow!
You're just at the age where every year after that your body feels like it wears out 5 years/ year. I will be turning 59 on the 14th. 1 more year and I will be walking the old man walk if I am not there already. At 50, a two mile walk in to bow hunt was a fast 20 minute walk without breaking a sweat. Now a mile walk in hunt is a half hour/ 5 breaks slow walk. WTF happened ???
Ain't this the truth. I turned 65 on Thanksgiving. Sometimes when I'm walking up to a store I see a reflection of a guy doing the "Old Man" walk in the front windows of the store. Funny thing is ....... he's dressed like me! If I wasn't always in such a hurry I'd stop to talk with him. As for the walking to hunt, I'm seriously considering covering the sides of my elevated blind with that camo steel siding and making a garage for my 4 wheeler!
First fool of the year went thru the ice here in Minnesota. Guy was coming off a lake at 1:30 in the morning and his snowmobile went thru. He was able to get out of the water and make it to shore.
Oh my....This actually explains certain looks I get while shopping Stiff getting out of car after sitting...sore in different areas all the time. Though that was the case way back in my 40's but I still zip here and there when on errands. I Park farthest spot out in parking lot and climb these hills home and camp like a slower Mnt. Goat. Still dragging deer out most of the way when hunting, all the way, down at camp. I'm still hand shoveling our 300ft drive, parking area and turn around by hand. I say I'm 64 because I'm so close April 1. I fear that if I stop pushing it, I'll seize up, I plan on doing most of this stuff into my 80's at least. Complain for sure but pushing, pushing, pushing!
Our Son Ice fishes and here in NY it is a short season, due to warm ups. Best very expensive gift we've gotten him is a good brand floating ice fishing suit. A small bit of peace of mind.
I friggen hate IM for any type of communication, especially at work. If it does not warrant a phone call or an email, it is not important.
