I have thought about this a lot recently as well. So much technology and so much other stuff that takes away from the tangible things in this world. I want to be around things that I can touch and move around and be a part of that are real.
Not that I'm aware of or have heard about. Deer farms or similar seem to be pretty rare around here. I only know of one buffalo farm and one elk farm in the whole northern half of the State (just my running around the country observation, there certainly could be more) and neither are very close to the area where CWD was found. I'd think that IF&G would be sharing that info if there was a farm, but who knows.
Imma just go home and forget that I have a job. I don't understand how someone can drop the ball and then you have to scramble to figure it out. Only TWO of my employees have active health coverage. My broker is a useless piece of human flesh. I have dealt with this since Wednesday on my own. I have gotten quite bitchy in my e-mails....and started looking for new jobs because I don't get paid enough to deal with this. Add in, while on the phone with UPMC trying to figure out the issue and I see mouse **** on my desk. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. Now time to clean and disinfect everything. I don't have time for this.
People who smile excessively and are always happy happy, kinda scare me... In my head, either your on heavy meds, are clueless or not working hard enough... ...Maybe I'm wrong and am too negative. Nah!
Ordered the grandson an up grade electric tractor, thing has an FM radio and reverse with a beeper, even a trailer except the hardware kit to assemble the trailer is missing, going to have to return the whole damn thing rather than just shipping me the missing trailer hardware kit. When the daughter goes into labor the Grandson is staying with us as long as they daughter is in the hospital, kid is getting an early christmas gift. Can't wait to watch him unwrap his tractor, he is going to lose his ****.
Pissed this morning, it snowed last night. I went out to start the truck to warm up before I headed out to the WMA. Open the door and snow dumps on the front seat. Better see some deer damn it.
Winter tip: Keep the snow brush in the back seat area. Better to get snow on the back seat than the front. Oh. Get a remote start.
Well morning sit never happened. I noticed some side by side tracks yesterday at the WMA the tracks went right past the no motor vehicles past this point signs. I go to pull in this morning and I see a side by side coming up the road and turn onto the 2 track where I saw the tracks yesterday. I waited 5 minutes and drove down there and parked where the tracks came out yesterday, sure enough here comes dumbass on his side by side on the same path. I got out to chat, snapped some photos told him to have a good day. I got a picture of the registration a picture of the individual and pictures of the tracks emailed it all to the DNR employee that manages the WMA.
normally, I would say you don't qualify since you're Canadian, but as we see now they'll let anyone in the WH these days.
Amazon Prime, was a lot like I thought originally was going to have to send it back, when the wife got done with them they are just shipping another complete unit so the grandson will have 2 tractors. Will be nice when he gets 1 tractor stuck he will have another tractor to pull it out.
While looking for Christmas boxes in the basement found a box of 56 weekly reader books from the kids. I had put them in plastic and then boxed. . They are from the mid 1990's. I will be giving the boys a few at a time to read or be read too. A gift from their Dad and Aunt....why I save certain things.
It would take a couple hours of idling to get the 4" of snow to melt off. Plus my wifes remote start is not working so I have to go out and start her vehicle anyhow.
Oh we have the encyclopedia we bought as well. THANK GOD! At least I know the boys have access to real history and not the ****e they teach now.
