What happens if it opens while you are driving? Just saw this a week ago. Must not have closed the hood at all or the safety latch was broke,
Yeah especially when the Principal during the interview asked if our place on the lake is the one with the Packer flag.
The truck came with the tires at 35 psi, the truck indicates when the tires are at the desired pressure 32psi, who am I to second guess Chevy and the tire manufacture?
I know what the door on my GMC says and I know what my tires say. Big difference. My tires can max at 55. That is too hard of a ride even loaded. 32 in a vehicle that is almost 50% heavier than a car should be running more than 32.
She is very good plus she is used to working in a school that has 3 times the number of students than what she will be working with in town. She did beat out 39 other applicants.
...when you're so short staffed so you're afraid to be too strict and lose another employee...ugh. I wish companies weren't allowed to do incentives. One ambulance company is doing sign on bonuses with bonuses to referral. Other is doing free health insurance for all full time employees. Little ole me cannot afford to compete with that. We run two ambulance full time and one extra Monday - Friday. These other companies run 10-20.
OTOH - 1) I'm exhausted, feeling like I'm carrying the load for several who are coasting... If I could find a company offering incentives for my level, skills, pay grade... 2) finding good, skilled, capable ppl is insanely difficult in many areas...
I get it. I feel that for myself. Being in the position I'm in, I have to pick up the slack for so many. The stress is increasing, too. But, alas, I do like my job. It's just frustrating, very frustrating at times.
Employee who called off this morning due to "panic attacks" - is at home making perogies and posting all about it on facebook. That crap irritates me too. I need a vacation.
Only IL could make this sound like it makes sense. Their total number(undisclosed) needs to be reduced by 70% every year to keep them somewhat in check. Yet, we will protect them from being killed until they become as numerous as the coyote. S.S.S.
Sorry ahole. You kill our greatest resource, trees, and threaten the lives of citizens and firefighters...you get life in prison in my book. Ex-college professor charged with setting California fires; faces up to 20 years in prison
As far as risking firefighter lives, every single one working that fire is having the time of their lives, they want to be there, there is a burning desire to be there. Even on a ripper they are loving the chaos, it's like playing playoff football.
