I went to the doctor and was prescribed PT. I did that for 6 weeks. Went back and was told to do more PT. I told him I was feeling worse and wanted an mri. Doc told me mri were too expensive. Even though I had good insurance, he refused.

Went to a recommended back specialist and he said I needed ... you guessed it... an mri. A bulged disk was pressing on my sciatic nerve.

Just before my surgery the pain and numbness of my leg was so bad I couldn't sleep. I was starting to drag my leg when I walked.

The surgery was called a microdiskectomy (sp). It took almost a year for the numbness to go away. But the pain was gone.

I'd say I recovered strength wise to about 95%. It did take a ***** out of my armor. Sometimes when I over do it I can feel where the numbness was in my leg... very slightly.

Bottom line.... the surgery was worth it.

The price bullets. Luckily I found what I think was a reasonable price compared to other calibers. I found some 7mmwsm for $35 a box. It’s 20 rounds per box so I picked up 2. That should last me a long time. Still looking for 6.5. I have 2 hold tickets for when and if it comes in at a local chain. May have to take out a small loan.

    Wow. I thought $38 for 50 30-06 was bad.

Never mind. I see you changed wording to rounds. Thought you meant the actual bullet for reloading

Got my shipped notification Monday, bought from this seller because it was free 3 day shipping. 6 days later hasn't even shipped it. Emailed last night to cancel it and refund my money.

Worst part of getting older is when you realize it is only a matter of time that you are the elder. My mother in law was in the ER last night no hospital bed available because of staffing. She has potassium issues, she also has dementia. Dr said she can not live on her own, my father in law is far from an ideal caregiver. My wife who has not spoke to her only sibling her sister in 2 years is down dealing with that. Sucks.

Coming home to a house destroyed by my boarder collie. No idea what he ate but I think he ****out a gallon of whatever it was. Gotta love steam cleaning hard wood floors at midnight.

I have to ask, do you let the dog run free when you are gone? I would never trust dogs left to their own devices.

Our dogs run free when we are gone. So do the cats, they're the ones to worry about. They've figured out how to defeat the child proof locks on the cupboards. They like to throw all the canned goods onto the floor.

Making a 120 mile round trip to buy a 10 foot pc of conduit. And only need 15 inches of the stick.

    Sucks!

Store website says they have 5 in stock. We shall see

My dog is a guard dog. He takes his job very seriously. He could not guard my house if he wasn't allowed free roam of the place.

I can leave my dogs for hours with a bag of garbage sitting out waiting to be filled. Neither of the dogs will touch it. I'm lucky I guess. But there is something to be said for being retired and spending almost all of my time with the dogs.

We are probably training each other. :)

Never trust a chihuahua, they are evil. They can also break down the gate to attack as needed, god knows they have zero problem taking the gate down when there is thunder.

Thing that sucks about living in the middle of nowhere this morning I am hungry for a big warm pretzel, but not hungry enough to drive a half hour each way to get one.

Mrs. Noodles just bought a GD Sauder brand desk. A big MFer.

I would have gladly paid 3x the money to have a quality desk that didn't come in 8346 pieces that I now have to spend the next 3 hours and 7 beers putting together.

... but it's almost November and I have learned some things.
