24 hours news channels; all of them. If the news can not be delivered in 30 minutes or less by a local news station, it is spin not substance. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
A piece of crap neighbor that thinks property lines are just an option! Just last week he took his snowmobile and ran across bare ground to get to my pond, made a couple laps around and then back to his property. Last night he calls wanting to discuss "the line" because he is having the back portion of his 40 logged. Really? Now you want to talk about boundaries?? Buddy, you got 3 options: 1. Get a survey 2. Get a survey 3. Get a survey
Cashiers that give you the bill and then the change. You know the change is just going to slide right off the bills. Now I'm in the checkout line coddling a handful of change like its a new born baby bird. And God help me if it happens in a drive thru.
Only drink half, then it’s only half the calories. And because it’s half the calories you can have twice as much
Not much of a Hannity fan, but he, Lou Dobbs and -ESPECIALLY- Rush are about the only 3 conservative media-types who regularly (and in the case of Rush) eloquently call out the GOP for being the conniving sniveling faux Conservatives that they are. To paraphrase Lou Dobbs: Paul Ryan should rot in hell for this "budget" proposal. https://apnews.com/bc38a23b54294dbb...se-huge-budget;-big-military,-domestic-boosts
I have little tolerance for cable news channels. I score as a moderate on political surveys and am a registered independent. I see myself as a social libertarian (small government) and fiscal conservative who is sick to death of both parties. Term limits for congress and the national debt are my greatest concerns. I watch the local news. It's an NBC affiliate. Local and state elections are extremely important for us all.
I actually agree sometimes and admire Bill Maher somewhat. He'll have guests on his show in which he disagrees and gives them a platform to speak. He still can trigger me sometimes, but that's to his credit. He's a 1st amendment advocate. Moore, however, is a partisan entertainer posing as a documentary film maker. I'm not a fan at all. Same with Oliver Stone. His movies are fictionalized history to the max.
I agree with you on Maher. I never really watched him when I had HBO but, that's just because I didn't think he was very funny regardless of his politics. Maher though, unlike somebody like Hannity, will actually allow somebody a platform on his show and not just have someone with a different viewpoint on just to shout them down and not actually let them get their point across.
Until recently, Maher always reminded me of this: "The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so." - Ronald Reagan Now he's just another russiarussiarussia hack. sorry; I am not clear on your point. Care to elaborate?
rant- people who come to work sick. I was stuck in a car with a guy who was coughing and sneezing for the past 2 days and now I am now coming down with my 3rd cold in less than 2 months. We get a crapload of sick time - take it! Effing Breakout monkey.
No rant tonight. Left freezing and a half foot of snow for sunny and warm Florida. Just touched down for 5 days of a needed vacation. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
