My rant?! Employees who cannot talk to their employer and just jump into contacting an attorney. What a sue happy world we live in! Said employees last day is TOMORROW. Seems pretty suspicious that they did that.
Oh its broken for sure. Im babying it at work but still had to slip my steel toe on. If it doesnt feel better in a couple days i guess ill bite the bullet and go get x-ray so true. The body is often taken for granted until its too late. My dad always told me as a kid when i was doing crazy stuff, “Youth is wasted on the young” i never knew what he meant until recently
That is so true...however, wisdom in your teens would be a lot less fun (seem to have heard this somewhere)
No explanation needed good sir, but appreciate it anyway. Hasn't quite been 24 hours, but still haven't heard back from them. My guess is there is no cloud service and the pictures are somehow temporarily stored on the SD card adapter. So until I can plug that into another Spy point device, I won't know if it is saved or not.
Converter??? I suppose you could call it that. More like a transmitter. Its the Spypoint Cell-Link, which plugs into the Camera via an SD Card Cable adapter. So on one end is the standard SD card for the Camera and on the other is the SD Card for the Cell-Link. I am unsure how the SD Cards on each end of that cable work. i.e. do they both store the pictures, and are then periodically erased by the Cell-Link, are they only stored on the Cell-Link side, or the camera side...or is the cable with 2 SD cards purely there for data transmission and Spypoint uses a cloud service of some type to store the pictures and nothing is ever saved on either SD card. What I don't want to do is plug the cards into some other camera to find out, and then if they do house pictures, I don't want them to somehow automatically get erased just in case I can somehow pull the pictures off to find out who was on the property that shouldn't have been.
The mini SD card that goes in that slot is where all your pics are stored. The cable and SD that goes to the camera is just a data link. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Yeah, that is what I meant. Unless the mini SD card was destroyed in the "blast" there should be images on it. Question becomes, is it clear enough. I had 2 of those earlier in the fall. One would not transfer pics and the other had absolutely horrible pics. After fighting with them for a couple weeks I returned them and got a cell cam. The price per unit is very attractive. It was worth the try.
So then question is if I plug that little guy into any other random device, will it try to reformat and erase the pictures or will they all still be there?
If you plug it into a card reader or laptop, just like any other SD card, you should be able to view the pics on it. There should be no reason it would need reformatted. If the card is not damages or corrupt, you should be fine. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Don't format! If using windows machine/pc, and given the choice what to do, choose open explorer/folder... May have to explore the file folders, but, if readable, the hope is the image files > should < still be there...
Well the SD card and device are about 6 hours north of me with my Brother In Law. So when I head up there to start my hunt next weekend, I will plug that bad boy into my laptop and see what shakes loose....assuming the blast didn't destroy the contents in some weird way.
That is why mine is in the garage and not in the woods. I couldn't get that cable right this year either. Just never seemed to connect to the camera properly. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I have been looking for reloading powder for some time and have even selected the "notify me" button on many web sites. One place in particular is really pissing me off. Several times I have received the email that product is back in stock only to find out that it is in store only purchase. Not a word being said on their site that it would be in store only. They have no brick and mortar shop within 250 miles of me. GRRR!!! And talk about sticker shock!? The last time I stocked up, I paid $12.50/lb. I guess I could always go to Gunbrokers.com...nope, sorry. Not paying $90/lb
Eeeeeewwwwwww...not a lot can be done for a broken toe, maybe splint. That nail will go blk.I imagine. Crush is worse than a break though. so make sure you have blood flow...regularly check toe warmth if you don't seek medical.....I see slippers in your future for a while, good luck.
