I don't know what I hate more, actual rubbernecker; or the people around here who call them "gapers" (pronounced gay-perz; emphasis on the first syllable.) They are rubberneckers or lookie-Lous, not 'gapers'. Every time I hear that word, I think of a...direct to DVD film I saw once in college, where a character was a "wrestler" that was called "The Boston Gaper"...her signature finishing move was EPIC.
I feel you. Re-doing my bathroom and I just found out that if I really give one of the vinyl planks a real whack, it will buckle the seams on ones 3-4 over. Just had to tear up about 3.5 rows, and I was down to just 3 more to go. I thought I was going to be able to have it all done and the new toilet installed before wife gets home for dinner. Here I sit without any beer or whiskey, too.

The news stories about how they can not get firefighters to deal with the western fires, what a crock of crap. The forest service quit certifying our red qualifications nationally 5 years ago. By certifying our red cards we were available to back fill on big fires, often mopping up freeing local resources to respond to new fires. We were temporary contract fire fighters available to help out, couple wet years they decided to defund, how well does defunding work on emergency response?

So I suck back on the skoal, it was a morning at work got there at 6:30 and by 8:30 I was pissed off, left work and bought a tin. Told my wife based on my BP the skoal isn't going to kill me.
