So evidently they had a little parade in town last night at 6:30 for the town's legion baseball team, they took second place at the state tournament. You don't do parades for second place.
Damn...my condolences to you and your family. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Call me Boomer I don't care things were a hell of a lot better back in those days. Second place is first loser.
US department of labor says there are 9.9 million jobs currently open in the US only 8.7 million unemployed people are seeking jobs. Nice work Joe.
Missing every chance of rain this weekend. North 30 minutes got 2 inches, south 30 minutes got 2 inches, west 15 minutes got .75 and east 40 minutes got 7 tenths. We got 43 drops... I've never not looked forward to a harvest before but this is turning into the first every day that goes by.
Is it really a harvest if you don't bury a combine up to its axles and use every piece of equipment on the farm to get it unstuck?
Haha that will be the only positive, except now we'll have to worry about fires instead. Tillage equipment will take a beating this year.
Dad called me earlier, he was diagonosed with glaucoma by the optometrist this morning. Fortuntately, they caught it early and he has a 90% chance of laser surgery to remove it being successful.
My wife, MIL and Dad had the surgery, successfully. Hardest part was them getting used to a change in vision when they had new lenses. Wishing your Dad the same good prognosis.
