Had I known it was little dogs I wouldn’t have worried too much.
Since I didn’t know what I was walking into I went prepared for the worst.

What a great day.....Just got back from the ER, I am apparently allergic to ground nesting hornets.... I was using my new brush cutter for the very first time this morning and got to close to a nest of them that I didn’t see. I got stung once on the side of my face, immediately my face got beat red and felt very warm, broke out with a rash all within 5 min, BP spiked and pulse raced.Put the machine away and went to town. Luckily it hadn’t effected my breathing yet. Now I have to carry a Epipen and Benadryl when I am out and about. Got lucky

Was about a year ago that Fix had an encounter too

I have always heard 10mm is the best round to carry in grizzly country. I may have to invest in one at some point.

I live in central PA. The last two times I went to the State Store…no Jack Daniel’s black label.

Clerk said they just aren’t sending it.

I don’t want their “honey” crap or their Gentleman Jack…I want my Black Label.

    What the hell?

When you say ground hornets, are you talking about the little 1/2” long yellow and black ones? We call them yellow jackets where I come from and I’ve gotten mixed up with them before. If that’s what they are you’re lucky you only got stung once.

I’m with Sota. I go with fire.

I just wait until dark, pour gasoline down the hole, pour a little stream about five feet away and light it. It’s quite a show.

Same here. I’ve had a lot of sits ruined by dogs and never thought about shooting one, but I was ready to yesterday.

Actually came here for a rant, but the fire talk reminded me of that video.

Been searching and searching to no avail.

Schwann's back in the day used to sell pizza burgers. Were pizza flavored frozen patties with mozzerella in the center. Just remember loving them as a kid . Can't find anything remotely like them or a "recipe" that sounds worthy of trying.

You could make millions by bringing them back I'm sure.

Thinking about trying something with some pepporoni seasoning or finely ground pepperoni.

Been craving them off and on for a few years now

Evidently today was F tard day on I 94, had the dumbass right lane passer that jammed in front of me and I had to hit the breaks, then in the construction zone with cement barriers on a transition a semi is drifting towards me I had to move left to the point where the drivers side mirror hit one of the fiberglass things above the cement. That will get your attention your side mirror hitting the window. Needless to say I am having beers on the pontoon tonight.

Glad you're alright. I was trimming trees along my easement this morning when I saw a couple of those yellow jackets hovering around the ground near the fallen branches. I looked around for several minutes to see if I was near a nest. I didn't see one so all I can figure is that they were attracted to the sap coming from the ends of the cut off branches. I resumed trimming and moved on with no injuries!

A little common sense goes a long way. That guy obviously didn’t think things through very well.
