Trash neighbors, dog sh**s all through the bottom part of our yard.. they leave it. Juat cut grass there were 6 piles. I flung em back over to their side with a shovel, asked em to clean it up multiple times. A part of their hemlock tree broke off, big branch shattered. Tree branches and stuff all over our yard, they cleaned up their side and left all the stuff on ours, I asked em to clean it up. He did a job a 5y/o might be proud of, now their saying they own the property where our fence is on, I got the land surveyed and I’m good but they think they own way into the yard and they want a fence now and want to connect to ours. I told them no bc were gona sell and build in a year or two and don’t want the fences connected for resale value (realtor fiend said not to). Where is the respect anymore. In my parents neighborhood growing up everyone helped everyone and was cool. Rant over!
No but a few f bombs. Still throbbed. Seem to be getting the red b******s under control here. Guessing 60_70 have been killed since early spring.
Actually that is Federal, so it effects all the Dem state's that put covid 19 elders back in nursing homes. The state'attorneys could still go after these nimrods...Though unlikely.
Ground bees, all I did was walk past their nest. I rarely wear, shorts but today I decided to. They literally flew up my shorts to sting me. Here's one low enough to take a pic. My legs are on fire 2 hours later. SOB's!!!!!
Wish mine was, the dang thing still hurts! The one on my outer thigh muscle is being just plain nasty.
A big move of CWD across VA... From NoVa, to the opposite side of the state (close to the VA NC line). https://www.ncwildlife.org/News/new-chronic-wasting-disease-case-confirmed-in-virginia
Placing a place marker for the future..... Heard some thumps earlier, looked out the window and the "winner" that has been working on the neighbors car for the past couple weekends was at their dying tree. Maple that the main trunk is about 6 foot tall before it split out twice, which then split out an additional two times. Over the past 6 years one half of the initial split has busted off with 40mph or so gusts. The second half is still upright and leafing out. Well, the thumping I heard was this "winner" beating the hell out of the hollow point of the base. The trunk is probably 30" where hollow are is. Right side is dead in image. Left side still has 40-50 feet of tree. Car in image just showed up and "winner" was out there looking over a 14" bar chainsaw as if looking to buy or use.
OMFG!! One of them just fired up a chainsaw and starting slicing at the trunk, you know, up about 6" from the ground. Sloced into it and stopped. I figured someone would have some spurs and scale up the tree with some rope and pulley's or some chit. They stopped and went inside, hopefully to stay and not wait for dark to fall.
I found a nest mowing around a tree stump on Friday. Funny, never saw it all summer. Didn't get stung-glad they weren't the black/white ground bees. I did get out the rosebud touch and send them on their way to bee heaven.
