So I left Sunday morning at 9 :30 kids skied until the motor broke and they had to get towed in. Evidently a motor broken is a motor ran out of fuel. I charged the old johnson pumped the bulb and it ran angry at high idle.

If you're selling a house, one down the street sold for 20% over list... Though we bought undeveloped land 5% under list ('cash deal' from sellers POV...yeah I borrowed some on a LOC that I will pay off in 2-2.5 yrs, but <4% to use somebody else $ seemed a good opportunity).
Climbing sticks on the Facebook Marketplace, but yeah, still offered me barely half of what current retail is.
Probably would do better on ebay, Rokslide or a hiking/backpacking page. FB marketplace is nothing but the newer Craigslist.
I just sold mine for 30% more than what i paid for it 3 yrs ago. Found a for sale by owner and it was priced to exclude agents commission so we made out pretty good. Close on my current on the 31st and have to wait till 8/16 to close on our destination….i hate moving
Attending and speaking at another conference in August in Saratoga WY. I now know why they were so eager to accept my presentation. To get to Saratoga flying Delta I have to fly into Denver and drive 228 miles. Another Sunday morning flight and another late night getting home later in the week. I wonder what I would have to pay somebody who would be willing to travel Sundays, late back home and be at the office at 7 the next morning?
I am pretty sure I got a libtard fired at the movie theater last night. I was there for the Full Draw Film tour. This is one of those theaters where they bring the food to you at your seat. But, with COVID operations, you can only order through an app from your phone. The app wasn’t working for me so I went to the concession stand. I heard a girl in the back say, “I can’t believe I have to serve these f-ing redneck idiot archers.” I spoke with manager and asked about placing an order. I just casually slipped in what I overheard as an afterthought. Another employee overheard what I told the manager and identified the mouthy girl. Keep in mind, our event was easily the biggest reason anyone was at the theater last night. The manager called her over, told her to clock out and to wait in the manager’s office until she was done speaking with me. To top it off, the ordering issue with the app wasn’t resolved and a buddy bought my kids drinks because they couldn’t take a payment from me. On the upside the Full Draw film tour was a fun event.
Why can't people just leave you alone ?? Within 15 minutes of getting the lift set up and firing up the chainsaw, people started driving by to see what I was up to. Within a half hour they were stopping because they were interested in the lift and the trees they needed cut down in their yard. One guy knew several people who would pay the rent for me if him and I cut their trees. Then he came back the second time with his bigger chainsaw then mine so I could use it. I tried to be nice. I try to get along with everyone is this town but tomorrow he said he is coming to help me. Told him I don't need help but thanked him for the offer. If he shows up tomorrow or anyone else for that matter, I will not be nice. I don't mind helping people but when I have a project of my own that I want to get done by me and me only... leave me alone and don't waste my time.
Gotta love inlaws, even tho they're not mine. So couple weeks ago me and my sistervwere talking about talking a trip sometime. Her and her husband don't have kids and I don't have wife or kids so figured why not. So we were joking around and I was like "we should go to Disney and Universal down in FL." We never did stuff like that growing up cause my dad was a otr truck driver and worked his butt off for us and my mom. So fast forward week or so and they're up at house for dinner and we looked it up again and found resort tickets, like one of the nicest ones, and airline for what I consider cheap. I'm like I'll pay lets just go. I have pretty decent job and like said above no wife or kids so it's not big deal to me. What good is money if can't enjoy it. So talked to my mom, who also has really good job and she's like when are you goin and how about I pay half and it'll be Christmas for you guys. So ok done deal now we're goin, or at least I am ha, in Oct. So now just found out couple nights ago my sister and brother in law had dinner at his mom's house and she decided to tell them how it's not right that we did that and me and my mom are just trying to buy their love. So now my brother in law has been whining all week about how expensive this is gonna be to go and we shouldn't fly cause how are we gonna get around and whatever else little nit picky thing he can come up with. So now the rest of the summer whenever family stuff happens I've been instructed to be pretend to be nice and not a smart ***. Which is gonna be kinds hard.
