No fence is normal 4ft galvanized but posts need to be 4-5 ft apart because the are escape artists and rub against fence pushing the posts. As for clearing..... Meh. They will eat lots of it for sure. They are great but loud and needy. Super picky about water too
Mine weren't that picky, though if you have wild rose they will take it down to the point it won't grow back.
Why I plant so many tomato every year. Rain,rain,rain,rain...days of it with little Sun...The bacteria and fungus ,blight have started hitting and hard. Just as they began flowering. Sprays and dusting just gets washed away.5 day forecast...rain.
Wife has to set the alarm for 5 in the morning after her 10 day vacation too. Pretty sure she feels the same as you. Now I get to get up at 5:30 to take care of the critters and see her off. It was so nice to get to sleep in till 7 , just get up and go to work. She took care of the critters during her vacation. I wish she would take more vacations !!!

I saw that article when I was in Augusta GA. For those familiar with the area, or those from Romania, they may disagree with you. In Belvidere SC there is a very close knit community of, what are known as Gypsies or Irish Travelers. In Romania, different communities also identified as Gypsies... All from the nearby communities would say those are, in at least part, racial.

Mind you, I don't see see a problem with the name gypsy moth (nor black mama or German Shepard). Like many words there are multiple meanings for words and/or their use. In these cases describing behaviors, colors or genesis/heritage. History may be offensive to some, but sanitizing parts you don't like doesn't changes it, fix it, justify it nor address the (then) thinking / rationale. Few alive are responsible for the transgressions of events ~70+ years ago...does racism still exist, yup. One good litmus test is replacing a race, color or other groups name in the cause du jour....would White Lives Matter cause problems? Likely. Should Lgbtq groups be given preference over hetro? Likely. Imho, given slightly different circumstances or characteristics, cracker moth, whitey mamba or Anglo Shepard wouldn't phase me...
Yup... Not sure which Karen was offended by Gypsy moth. Many folks in Augusta are leery of the Gypsies of SC... Many have their stories and justifications.

Just off phone with UPS customer service.... °,¡_ $&@&$ 23!!!!!! I'm so pizzed and frustrated I can't even abbreviate the swear words!!! Hubby pays 36.00 extra for over night shipping on a package of needed work parts. I wasn't home ,sitting for kids as they are making funeral arrangements. I don't look at mail box when pulling into drive way. My mail was sitting neatly on my porch chair with a package. Hubby gets home a little while later and is wildly pizzed. He glances at box and tied to the mail box door is $500.00 worth of parts he paid extra for a good delivery! Our old UPS guy would have NEVER EVER done something so freaking stupid. I am sick to death of the lazy SOB's companies are hiring! Then for same company to make one jump through freaking hoops to complain about their stinking ****e service. Our old driver received a 50.00 gift card every Christmas and a bag of dog treats twice a year. He took pride or at least respect in his work. I have to try yet again at 5pm to raise holy hell and should be pretty ripe for that, after my last call, with added time to stew.
Not sure if I posted this yet but it was proven thru experience again yesterday. I can no longer drink coffee, pisses me off I never drank a lot but I did have a cup every morning. I drink coffee now and 1/2hour to 45 minutes later I am ready to puke, it is mostly dry heaves but it still sucks. Another gift from aging I guess.
OMG...it stopped raining and I saw blue skys yay!. Grabbed my berry picking dish and headed to the raspberries. 1/4 mile from house and 12 berries later....hhhmmm this is my drowned rat look... not my best....
