Came into the city for a branch of mine. The second I get off the expressway every corner has younger ppl begging. I know for a fact just about everyone is looking for employees. And side note when you are begging don't stop to check your IPhone.

I watched a show on Appalachia life some time ago. An older lady said something that stuck with me..she said she wouldnt invite anyone to her dinner table that wasnt working or busting their butt to find work.

I have taken off 7 of the 12 pounds I gained, I try to walk every night I have a Dr's appointment scheduled. Funny my BP seems to have gone up since I quit dipping skoal. Sucks I do not typically eat fast food, I don't put salt on anything. Probably going to have to give up G2 and beer and take pills. Pissed I prided my self on not being on prescribed meds.

This could indicate a different underlying condition, so please press that thought with Dr for good testing not just pills. This especially if you have a family history of anything. Don't forget to fast before the appointment, it will give them a fast ability for blood work.

I don't wanna be that guy but, have you ever kept track of your water intake daily? I try to maintain 75% ounce to lb. So if you are 100lbs drink 75 oz a day.
Give it go and see what happens can't hurt

The blood pressure pills pull moisture and sodium from your system not sure the Dr is going to have me drinking like a camel.

PS...Remember the pills, at least with NYS Dr' s pills equal an every 6 mos visit which equals $$$$.
I think back on every Dr' s attitude toward my weight gain. No one was overly concerned about it. I was really active and I had stayed the same for many years with a seasonal up/ down 10#'s many different Dr. and surgeon's. They were saying knee replacements, wanting to push pills, ignoring chronic pain. Pushing PT...
My own research has reversed all that in one year.

My first reading was right after I left work and completed my commute, pressure has slowly dropped the pulse and lower number have dropped below 100. Bet if I took a boat ride it would drop a little more.

Try wine for a while instead of beer. Drop another 5-10 lbs and I bet you see a big improvement.

I'm with OND on this one, the sudden jump without much of a lifestyle change (other than quitting dip which SHOULD have helped) points to a causative condition like maybe a blockage. Cuidado, amigo
