It is not the music making them act that way. It's the ****ty parenting.

Jake you are right so many second marriages and mixed kids and the parents do not give a crap. Sure stuff happens and things that do not work out. I like to think the fact that we ate as a family as much as possible played a part in my kids successful launch into adulthood. We raised our kids traditionally with accountability and you know what they had a distinct advantage over kids who were raised by friend parents or parents who had daycare or school raise their kids. 4-H and sports.

I'm 1 of 8 in my family and raised by the same parents. Some of us are hard working conservatives with Christian views that give back to the community and our country and some are living hand to mouth and blame the world on their problems. Same parents.

What is the point you are trying to make? Parenting does not constitute to what these kids are doing? I'm talking about kids who are shooting up schools... Not people who are looking for handouts/blaming the world on their problems. HUGE difference.

Parenting/mental health are the main factors in these kids shooting up schools IMO. Mental health issues should be identified by the parents, who in turn should seek help for their child.

Why must people who want or need a job so picky?!

I got two people interviews for jobs and pretty much guaranteed positions. First person, my aunt, walked in for her interview - found out how much it makes and told them she wasn't going to waste their time and left. Other person, a neighbor, got laid off from her job. My Dad told me to text her and tell her about a position open. She sent her resume - they called and discussed some things and she totally seemed to not want it. My Dad told me to text her again and see if she was interested. (My dad coowns a plastic company) I do so - all she wants to know is how much it makes because she isn't going to waste anyones time if it's not x amount. Told her she had to go in to discuss those things, per my Dad, but told her they were not your typical plastic shop. She wasn't interested. THIS WAS A $50,000+++ a YEAR JOB! Just like that, she blew it because she wouldn't go discuss it.

    WHY. :bash:

Looking through old trail camera pictures wishing this winter would end. Can't wait to get my cameras out and get my mineral stations up and running.

why cant we buy a good old fashioned truck or car--a plain simple model like the old rambler American ?? slant 6 engine--3 speed on column, hand crank windows, air conditioning was opening the side vent window way open, ad boat carrier racks, some rope and duct tape you had it all also you could change your own oil easily, also replace the thermostat with 2 bolts, a person could even time it and tune it himself, they even got good gas mileage.

It is almost March and I am sick of snow, we got 8" yesterday with 6" the day before. My hips are on fire trying to walk thru the snow, I gave up and turned around when I went out to feed the deer yesterday afternoon. It was the first time being old has prevented me from doing something and it is frustrating.

Hunting partner who was "a lock" for DIY self guided elk in September prior to his marriage last month called today and bailed. "Too much stuff coming up."

    SMH.

I'm young and I am a bit sore today after shoveling our big deck and sidewalk 2 days straight. Shoveling snow seems to work muscles that I must not use all that often. Spring can't come soon enough.
