Go to the country drive yourself around. The people by the tall buildings where it never gets dark, they are crazy. A lot to be said for being in a place where nothing ever happens I can turn on my TV and watch the news and watch the insanity from the high density.
Just received an unsolicited text message from moveon.org encouraging me to buy a stick in support of Kamala Harris as the first female Vice President. The political brainwashing is just getting started with this administration.
Daylight savings time. When are we going to rid ourselves of this bs? I don't know one person who is all excited for it, quite the opposite.
On a positive note, I received this email this morning from a Wyoming state senator that I exchanged emails with last week regarding changes to nonresident Wyoming tag allocation. Thank you for being willling to listen to all sides involved and for the update. From: Senator - Schuler, Wendy <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 9, 2021 6:46 PM To: Adam Carter <[email protected]> Subject: RE: SF0103 Hello, Thanks for your email. This bill did not pass out of committee. The issues that were brought forth will be tackled by the newly created Wildlife Task Force. Hopefully, they will find some solutions for a win-win for everyone. Thanks for your input. Wendy Davis Schuler Wyoming State Legislature Senate District 15—Evanston 200 Liberty Avenue 307-679-6774
Proof that there is a sucker born every day... I gotta show this to the neighbor kid who does dog walking/dog sitting for people. If he added a “Nature walks with Dogs” service he could get paid twice for every dog walked without ever even walking a single dog himself.
Now, if it was a back country pack in or hunt and I was using the llamas to carry gear in and out... I'm your sucker.
So I am driving to work at 6:15 my Dad is calling. I answer and he asks where I am at I explained I was about a half hour out from work. He asks if I could keep driving and pick him up because he is having chest pains. He said he took his nitro and should be fine till I get there. Stubborn old man.
So my sister decided to end all treatment for her brain and lung cancer. Tumors are responding to chemo and radiation but she has had enough. Hard to watch and I am in no place to judge her actions but there is no way I would give up I would fight till the end to spend more time with my grandson and kids.
I am sorry to hear this. I watched my grandfather go through this when he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Although, he was 94 and had had a wonderful life, so it was probably a little easier to take.
My brother has a special needs daughter, if she got the covid she is a goner she has seizures if she gets an elevated temperature. She is not eligible to get the shot early she has to wait like a normal 30 year old. Now for the stupid part my brothers girlfriend who is the care giver for my brother's daughter during the day is eligible to get vacitionated early because she is a caregiver.
My wife just called me from the vet. She took our dog in this morning because the dog is bleeding out her anus and stinks like its infected. On the phone, we were told $40 for an office visit to have her checked out. My wife arrives and the vet wants her to sign a preauthorize treatment for testing that will start at $250 and up without providing an estimate or diagnosis. Basically, treat without telling me the problem and just expecting me to accept the charge. I am sorry, but no. You provide the estimate for testing and treatment costs, I will decide if worth paying the treatment costs or if it is time to put the dog down. I love the dog, but at 12 years old with arthritis and several benign tumors, it would be cruel to extend her life if she is having severe medical problems, especially if the tumors are no longer benign.
Well, apparently, a team at my 'wonderful' client has had more turnover and no transition. So, once more (I think this is now the third time), I get to point them to the documentation, explain their process and where their information is... Glad this is a regulatory project with their best folks engaged... And I wrap up my work in 2 weeks...
Well the vet is hoping the dog just has a bad infection. So, three weeks of antibiotics to clear up the infection. The only question now will be if the infection is causing the difficulty going to the bathroom and bleeding or if the difficulty going to the bathroom caused the infection that ended up bleeding. Guess we will know in a few weeks. Hopefully, she will be better when the infection is gone.
I like daylight savings time. A lot. I would like a lot more if it would just stay on Daylight Savings Time year-round
Up a full $1/gal since Jan 6, and it's not even summer blend time yet which tacks on another .15 regardless of what crude is going for. Thanks, *hole!
