Lol ....I have fixes for all that. Make a no sew cap like the ones I made and simply cut strips out of the bottom of window.

Basically it’s a 100yd square roped off with sheriffs department crime scene tape back into the woods a few hundred yards from the road. In the middle of the tape there is a bunch of empty tactical shotgun boxes and a single empty half-gallon bottle of baby formula. Never got a call from the cops about anything out here and it’s definitely fairly new - it wasn’t there the last time I was out on that part of the property which was 6-8 weeks ago. What’s y’all’s take on this? I would’ve thought they would’ve at least given me a call and said they’ve got something going on out there. Hopefully they had enough sense to wear safety orange while they were running around a dedicated hunting property during rifle season. They also trampled straight through the main bedding area on the way to their little art project.

So you are calling it art and crossed the tape to move pieces to take pics. Should I take from that you have already called the cops to find out whats going on if anything other than tresspassing?

County took away our raises again this year. Awesome. But they felt bad and gave us a $500 stipend to be added to our end of year holiday stuff. We might see $200 of it. All year out here working the streets and every county employee receives a stipend when 90% of them have been working from the comfort of their home. Awesome.

Brix has thanksgiving with family and in Michigan, we are starting a 1.2 million pure Michigan to bring people to the North where we have limited hospitals and are in a middle pandemic, but hey nobody play any sports. The lack of logic is off the charts.

My in-laws are going to see Trans Siberian Orchestra tonight. Under normal circumstances, I would think that it is great that they are getting out of the house. Unfortunately, both are over the age of 70, morbidly obese and have a plethora health problems. My MIL is still recovering from the emergency bowel obstruction/hernia surgery she had over the Thanksgiving weekend. They are prime candidates to die when they catch COVID. They most likely will; they are not taking it seriously. The emotional strain this is placing on my wife is infuriating. My parents are in town right now. My mother was talking with my wife about this and how hard it was for my mother to go through something similar with her mother (my grandmother) who is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's. My mother told my wife that she needs to just flat out tell my in-laws how much this is hurting my wife to watch them behave so stupidly. At least on the upside, I am not the only voice telling my wife this.

Lost a legend to covid a man that was a professional sales guy not a car salesman a guy that knew landfill design piping. I was blessed to be at a business dinner with him and another legend that was on the design consulting side. I got to pay for a business dinner and learn from great men that knew how to conduct a dinner. I know that if there is a heaven that the Jameson inventory took a hell of a hit, Vince was there at the gates waiting for Bill.

Close relative texts last night and asks to borrow $200 to get them through the month. I don’t have a lot, but I had it and it’s Christmas so I agreed this morning. I said I’d be there at 9:30.

While I was in the shower I got another text asking me if I could up it to $250.

I'd have replied "Sure, $150 is fine".

I hate to say it, and, I hope I am wrong, rephrase "borrow" to "gift" in my experience, you won't see that again. Gift it, make peace with it, and make it clear it is a one time thing unless they are desperate to avoid losing electricity or other utilities.
