Watching the morning news and the talking head says the vikings have a game in Tampa Bay today, no they don't they play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa Florida.
While I am ranting about Tampa December 26th I am headed to Tampa to escort my parents and their damn dogs to the family compound. Have a couple days of projects there and have to make my mother her favorite meal. I will not be eating in a restaurant or entering a bar and even though not mandated I will wear a mask when I go to Publix.
Talked my wife into buying the swim ladder to attach to the dock to facilitate easier kayak and paddle board mounting as well as swimming instead of christmas lights on the house. Used the savings to buy the lad an electric tractor for christmas.
I'm going to say it.... don't drive up persons azz as they are passing and you may find they pass much faster....just a thought
6.5 yrs of working the midnight shift is starting to take its toll on me. Almost feel like a sell out thinking about another shift to work bc I love the madness and managing the chaos. But my body and mind need a break to get some better sleep. Decisions....
I've got a neighbor that is a 3rd shift aircraft mechanic... I know he is allowed to swap shifts with others...usually incidental (holidays/weekends)... if you have that sort of opportunity, it may be a way to 'try before you buy'
On the freeway if you get in the left lane you are accelerating to complete a pass and move over right asap. So many dumbassed left lane lingering. It is situational awareness you see a fast mover in your rearview get the hell out of the way. It is the little narrow petal on the right push it and move B move out the way.
Correct it is situational awareness, you see a person infront of you passing into left lane, so YOU move up behind them at safe distance and speed as they pass and get a safe distance infront of vehical they passed to single back into to cruising lane. That foot on ones right leg has the ability to lift as well as it does to push down. Back the hell off and don't tail gate. See how that goes both ways...rhetorical there.
Daughters best friend...her poor boyfriend who is a senior in high school has gotten cancer. My daughter has become great friends with him. This young country boy has suffered so much the last couple of years. Various cancers at age 16 to now. Now they are saying the cancer has spread to his stomach and pancreas. Great student, athlete, and kid. Don't think he is gonna make it too much longer. Crap.
Sorry to hear my friend. Juvenile cancer is pretty much the cruelest thing in this world. Words aren't there.
