Isn't that winch-able to get it out?

A concrete ramp just above the water line, installed next drought year, would seem to be a great convenience for furture years... You're not getting any younger.

Fairly certain the Minnesota DNR will not allow me to modify the shoreline with a ramp. I will always have help from the kids so there is that.

I could dig in a 2 track ramp put cement in and then cover it in rocks, pull the rocks off to pull the lift, then recover. I am also going to possibly put in a flush valve box that I can put in a pipe to insert a steel rod to be an anchor point for a winch.

I think the winch system will make it work, I learned a lot taking it out, will suck less from here on out.

Why do squirrels have a season? If there is actually somebody over at the WRC that’s worried that we might run out of squirrels then somebody needs to drag them out of the office and into the woods and show them that we got more squirrels than you can shake a stick at.

Whoever is in charge of setting the prices at Sitka gear should be arrested... $1200 for a jacket and set of bibs is downright criminal.

Cheaper Than Dirt finally gets a backorder stock of a certain caliber in, my order is about to be filled and then I get an email saying my order is canceled due to policy. I email back and ask why, as they have my FOID on file and I have ordered uppers and magazines from them before with no issues.

Return email- "Sorry, we cannot ship ammunition to the city [sic] of Cook County, IL."

WTF, CTD??? It's not illegal to have ammo shipped to Cook County.

I think it's to give the woods a breather more than anything else. Not that that many people squirrel/small game hunt anymore compared to 30-50. years ago.

If your drinking the kool-aid, don't complain about the price (buy once cry once), else find a new drink stand.

But yeah, I've been saving for some of their pieces for a while too...

Daughter is set to have the same 2 week blood filtering thing like my son. Insurance made us do it from Nov 2 to 13. And now she will miss the last 2 weeks of her travel soccer bc of it. She already feels different and now she wont be able to do what she loves. I feel terrible for her. But maybe this treatment will get her back being healthy.

Sorry to hear. Praying things work out as well as they did for your son though.
