That crap got to about 30 miles from here. Glad Lake MI keeps us a bit warmer. We did get just of 1.5" of rain though.
Tomorrow morning, 3°F low with a high of 21°F. Sunday 4°F low with a high of 18°F. Looks like I'm still hunting rather than sitting still in a tree. I really wanted to sit in my new spot.
I am thinking the 2 person clam sled with pull over style. Fishing boat is going from the garage to storage tomorrow son in law is bringing the 4 wheeler over to pull the house. I have to be within 250' of my tip ups from my couch to the weed line is right at 250'. I can sit in my living room watch TV and put tip ups out. Going to be some fun Sunday dinners this winter, watching tip ups and eating venison.
Our first snow last year arrived on Halloween, had snow on the ground for the majority of November in some capacity. Have a chance of seeing some flakes Monday night here. When I was a kid I remember frosts and such being fairly common through October and especially November. Now it seems to be a welcomed relief when we get a good cold spell late Oct into Nov. I say bring it!
We had plans to attend the Weisn, Octoberfest in Munich, this year. Of course, it was canceled due to the Rona. So I follow a couple of Weisn pages on Instagram and now I'm pissed. Sure the beer and food is out of this world great but thats not the biggest reason to go.. Great atmosphere..
Got the dock out, that sucked. My hamstrings were so tight by the time we were done, it really sucked.
