Enough is enough in Portland. They need to bring in 10k law enforcement officers under the cover of darkness and converge on those rioters and arrest every last one of them. Create a make shift open air jail surrounded by razor wire and repeat daily.
My parents are from Oregon. My grandparents lived in Portland for most of their lives. I went to a junior college there for a couple of years. It used to be a wonderful city. Unfortunately, the fact that this is going on there is not a surprise. Spend decades electing leftist extremist politicians and this is what you get. As much as I love the part of the country I could never live there. Local politics is nothing but spineless communism. Yes, all of the city leaders should be arrested and charged as traitors.
I bet it happens after the election. It has reached to point where allowing it to continue actually works for Trump. It is showing what happens when leftist ideology is given free rein. The rest of the country is sitting back and saying, "Democrat leadership, EF that."
Since this is a rant thread. The utter discontent and down right hatred I have for shipping/mailing organizations right now cannot be explained. They are allowing domestic terrorism. Regardless of political affiliation, this is exactly what is occurring.
I'm no lawyer, but would seem something like : Aiding and abetting, treason, willful negligence, improper use of public funds, neglect of duties (of authority/fiduciary), potential conflict of interest...maybe see if the classic postal law, rico, or treasury laws were violated... But it likely wouldn't happen as the prosecutor is also likely very liberal.
