I think we lost our son to one of those. Sad day I am very concerned that he does not hate the vikings enough and he should call his mother more often so I do not have to hear about it.
OMG! hubby wanted me to make apple crisp for his anniversary " gift". It is the definition of all I love and can not have. Our entire house smells of warm buttery apple cinnamon, that mocks me. Now that's love...lol
You are welcome to send me your share! Congrats on the anniversary! My wife does something similar for me, but it is cinnamon rolls for father's day and anniversary.
Unfortunately no... it is an allergy caused by tick bites from the lone star tick. It makes you violently allergic to a protein that is in the meat of almost all mammals. Once you get it you can’t eat beef, venison, pork, lamb, goat, or squirrel meat. Heck even if you were desperate enough to eat possum, raccoon, guinea pig, armodillo, whale, prairie dog, or bottlenose dolphin they are all still a no-go since pretty much the only mammal meat that doesn’t have that protein is human and monkey. There is no cure for it either and for most people it lasts the rest of their lives. There are a lucky few who can manage to become somewhat less allergic over the course of a few decades as long as they can manage to not be bitten by any more ticks, but even for those folks they usually have some residual allergy and have to stick to pork. As far as bad things that can happen to an avid hunter, it’s basically up there with falling out of a treestand while not wearing a harness. Unless you want to become a cannibal or move to Africa and eat monkeys, the only meat you can eat for the rest of your life is poultry/fowl, fish, and grasshoppers. It’s really F’ed up too since that is an allergy that has a far greater impact on a hunter’s way of life than it does for somebody who doesn’t hunt and since we spend so much more time in the woods and around ticks than non-hunters do, we are also far more likely to get it. My buddy is devastated. He loves to deer hunt and processes his own deer. So much so that he built a walk-in cooler in his basement to hang and age his deer a few years back. I really hate it for him. I am for damn sure going to be a lot more vigilant about spraying myself down with permethrin in the future so I don’t get it too. You folks up north are pretty safe for the time being since the lone star tick is only located in the southeast.... Although it’s range is spreading to the north and the west
I actually havr one I've used for years to use upp zucchini. Still not the same as wonderful warm sweet apples...warm pumkin spiced green tea with lunch to help.....
Thanks!... He'll have that dish dusted in no time with vanilla icecream...skinny little turd!...hahahaahahaha
Eddy VanHalen dead? That sucks. I slept in a parking ramp to get tickets for their 1984 tour stop in Minnesota.
Nope. Too late... already got that covered. Took an old railroad electrical closet (I didn't steal it, it was given to me by a friend who works for them) added a window unit, a coolbot controller, a whole mess of insulation and some fiberglass wall panels to create a ghetto walk in cooler. Those are from the build out... all the seams and corners have been trimmed out with vinyl trim and then caulked to make it air-tight and prevent condensation/moisture from building up in the insulation. I am making a play for his 6 tags per year worth of venison that he can't eat though. That way he gets to keep hunting and I get to make sure that all that delicious meat doesn't go to waste.
I saw the same show in Peoria IL. Many good times with their music playing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hot for teacher, ice cream man, their version of happy trails all good stuff but Eddy was electric on the guitar.
Yes he was. I saw both versions of VH live, better show with DLR but I listened to a lot of VH and they will always be one of my favorites. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
