    It never fails to amaze me how many people work in academia do not get basic math, especially when applied to money. What is cheaper $15/month or $50/semester for a five month semester? Oh, your child is in medical school now, and why are you still paying for things for them?

    :lol: Love the man, miss him every day, but I guarantee my Grandpa could have plugged that with Elmers glue and saw dust :lol:

    Good times and good men, back when a home always had some saw dust around and bacon grease in a coffee can under the sink.

    My home has both, although the sawdust is in a shopvac and I use an old pickle jar instead of a coffee can for the bacon grease.

    @Sota
    I've been battling my network team for hours over a project. Come to find out it was a fix on their side. I hit them up with a "That's frustrating"

    As someone who grew up on an island, I roll my eyes at anyone who has a "Salt Life" sticker on their car and lives more than fifty miles from the any coast. If you can not handle the storms, you don't deserve the beach vacations.

    A little video from the back deck as Hurricane Laura hits Little Rock. In clear skies, I can easily see the hillside a mile across the valley. Right now, I cannot see the neighbor’s 50 yards away. The wind kind of died as I took the video.

    Learned last night that we have guests arriving Saturday afternoon, evidently I will be preparing some sort of BBQ dinner with all the fixings. My wife's 2 coworkers from school. Does not sound so bad does it? Her friends are bringing their husbands, now it is like some GD play date. WTF I have to pretend to be curious about a stranger that I will probably never see again. Fast forward to Sunday after they leave I will probably get the frigid attitude for a while and then will hear about what an a-hole I am because of something I said while the guests were there.

    This does not sound like something you are not used to. Maybe contact Okiebob for some new recipes.

    Oh I can bbq up a feast no problem, it's the people that make it well, frustrating. I am not that curious about others. I love my weekends far too much to spend half of it having to be on.

    Lucky you and lucky us. That video is about as bad as got. It could have been a lot worse.
