Evidently the MN DNR has people that work at boat landings as inspectors to make sure boaters are not transporting invasive species. Evidently these people did not take the same training I did when it comes to interfacing with the public. If I am supposed to have my boat, motor, and trailer inspected before I launch the boat some signage would inform me of that, or if the large tatted woman wearing the vest would get her ass out of the lawn chair and get my attention before the boat is launched we could do the inspection. Then if the DNR employee has failed at those approaches they really should not interface with the public in a manner that their negative attitude is very apparent.
Was watching a show on PBS about pheasant habitat they had a portion of questions and answers about outdoor sports. 1 person posted a question about finding funding and assistance setting up a high school trap team. The answer kinda surprised me. Basically every outdoor hunting association donates to help start and fund high school shooting sports with the exception of 1. Ducks Unlimited does not, bunch of suck wads. Midway USA is a huge sponsor one of the biggest donors.

Recently a thing that has been bugging me is when people stop at a flashing yellow light. Flashing yellow means caution but go. Flashing red means treat it like a stop sign. People near me must not have taken the same drivers-ed course that I took.
Why is it that law enforcement can ask to see my ID at any interface that happens driving related or not but can not ask a person if they are a legal citizen when they do not have common state id? Why in the hell is this considered wrong?
Why must Ford put the O2 sensor plug on top of the transmission in the 09 f-150, and make it impossible for even mechanics with a lift to get to it!?!?!?! can't stand how hard it is to work on your own vehicle these days.
You don't even have to go as far as a O2 sensor. I worked at a oil change facility and some of the places they put OIL FILTERS just blew my mind. You know your going to have to change this a lot, why make it nearly impossible to access. Here let's put my arm up against this hot tailpipe and wrap around behind my back and wiggle it loose with my fingertips. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
How about the new program they are trying to do in the Annadale area must bring your boat to a station not on the lake btw get it decontaminated get a sticker then you can drive to the lake and use it. The station is only open certain times so if you want to fish the lake early in the morning you must go the day before and get you boat decontaminated. But don't go too early because your sticker is only good for a certain amount of time. http://www.startribune.com/wright-c...tions-for-aquatic-invasive-species/432992983/ Oh and the lakes they are doing the tests on basically have every AIS already in the book Guess who cam up with the idea the lakes association I think its less about AIS and more about lakeshore owners making it harder for people to use their "private lake"
Washing clothes this morning headed to the airport 1:15 flight, all major interstates in around and thru my travel path to the airport have construction going on. Going to be a long week land back at MSP 9:00 Friday night. Going to cover just over 1000 miles in a rental car thru the Carolinas. Kinda dreading it.
Left 2 hours 15 minutes before my flight traffic was horrible missed my flight got a speeding ticket, great day.
Could have been worse my coworker made the 1:10 flight and still has not arrived in Charlotte, I left 4 hours later and beat him here.
