Tim, my wife is immune comprised and it matters to me. That and the fact that cases may not be on the rise where you're located but these mouth breathing troglodytes in this state are spreading it like crazy.

Hardest thing in the world is letting go. My wife and youngest were a mess. My oldest didn't cry until we hugged and I said welcome to the rest of your life kiddo.

I am not quite of that mindset. However, I do believe in paying attention to what my kids are paying attention to. Like it or not, this is the way of the world now. They only way to avoid it is to become a hermit. It could be something to be completely avoided, or, an opportunity to teach discernment. My kids understand that there are some things that they will not watch regardless of the source and they also understand that some of that material is appropriate. It just happens that most of what Disney produces now, sadly, requires screening. The content from my childhood and older, they can watch without me screening it.

Not really surprised, the last animated movie "Onward" had a lesbian police officer in it for all of two minutes. It was played off in a way that kids too young to understand sexuality would not have noticed. It wasn't there to normalize it for the kids. It was there to normalize it to the parents. This one is there to normalize it to the kids. First the parents, than the kids. Welcome to the new cultural conditioning.

Listen I'm not a prude by ANY stretch, though sex belongs in two places. Your personal domain and adult movies/ literature.
    NOT
In commercials, the streets, the malls, restaurants, and especially kids programming and story books. Now I don't care how ,who,or what a person has sex with, that is your right and none of my business. What IS my business is MY right not to be exposed to yours rights. It's called respect and desencey, ha! A word kicked to the curb and covered in ****e.

I completely agree. I could care less what two consenting adults choose to do. What a company tries to normalize and force feed to my kids before the are even old enough to have the maturity understand? Well, that pisses me off. That is not the company/government/other person's right. That is violating my rights as parent to determine how and when my kids learn about these things.

Laid a trap for my mother in law. I head back out of town tomorrow night so I made some fudge to leave in the fridge. There is enough THC in it to tranq an elephant. Game. Set. Match, you old cow. 20200817_113204.jpg

Please send the recipe along with automatic delivery every time she calls in the middle of dinner time or comes by unannounced during dinner time or bed time for the kids. I am going to need someone who can deliver on an almost daily basis.:whip::deadhorse:
