Anybody who has pulled a lower unit off an outboard motor can appreciate my angst tonight, added bonus I got to do it standing in 2 feet of water.
Don’t do it that way put the boat on the trailer! Your gonna drop a bolt or something and never find it? Then you’ll be frustrated! Or your FIL could come help to make sure you don’t lose anything? Then we’ll have a new thread about how frustrated Sota is
Nope I was very careful I put every bolt in a plastic bag after it was removed. It went ok, the reinstall is tonight. Plus I am a new Sota all relaxed, chill, non cursing Grandpa.
Europeans that have an issue with seeing so many American flags flying in the US. I fly the flag at my home to honor those that serve and served our country. I fly that flag and stand for the anthem to honor my Grandfather if you have a problem with seeing an American flag flying in my yard get out you are not welcome in my home.
My county goes from an old Southern Democrat prosecutor that made criminals pay the price to now a leftist who blames cops and society for the criminals actions. Our old prosecutor put more people to death than any other prosecutor in VA and worked some serious cases, including putting the DC sniper to death. I miss that old guy.
I've got a project manager, who apparently doesn't understand dependencies or the concept of 'garbage in, garbage out'...
So I needed a new lawn mower, I go to the home depot and pick out a toro. Nothing fancy just self propelled. I get the thing home get it out of the box get it assembled and figured what the heck let's fire it up. I pour oil in it figured I would give it a few minutes before I check oil level. I come back and there is a puddle of oil under the mower the whole quart leaked onto my pristine clean concrete apron. POS.
Not sure how big of an a-hole I want to be about this when I get to home depot this morning. I will forgive it all if they upgrade me to the Honda that is $100 more for no charge. I mean the remediation of the quart of oil is not going to be cheap.
