I guess I could've posted this yesterday, but I was, um, occupied. But, colonoscopy prep.

 

Learned today that Elmo the muppet character has a talk show, good god.

Why the surprise? CNN has had real muppets as hosts for years...Elmo probably is far more legit..

 

Oh god I dread the next one. My last Dr was sadistic..had issue with my weight and was a keto nazi. When my test came out literally perfact( that of a 30 yr old his words) he still made me go in for a lower GI and acted perturbed that was clean as well. Thank God he retired.

Working at a medical school, I can confirm that this is both humorous and frighteningly true.

 

Samsung appliances suck. When we bought our home four years ago, it came with less than a year old kitchen appliances. As if right now, they are a little less than five years old. Short of the motor, I have replaced every mechanical and electrical part on the dishwasher. The ice machine in the refrigerator has a short and only makes ice randomly and nit often. We use ice cube trays. I have replaced two burner switches and the temperature sensor on the oven. This morning I replaced the over-the-range microwave because it would run but not heat the food. I said screw repairing it. Bought a GE microwave that matches the rest of the appliances other than the logo.

On the plus side, the microwave install went flawlessly.

 

And now the garbage disposal leaking and the oven still will not stay hot. I had already planned on replacing the exhaust vent in the master bathroom tomorrow. Instead of being an electrician, it looks like it will be another round of appliance repair.

 

sorry; yes they make good TVs and phones but their appliances do suck. My parents had about $7000 in Samsung appliances all crap out within 4 years.
