Finally headed home after my trip was extended. Funny the problem we found was exactly what I told them it was on the phone before I ever got on the plane to come here. If I hear somebody make excuses for being late or not being ready as island time I will choke them. I actually got away with yelling and swearing at a client and they thanked me for it, only because the problem allows them to up their budget to deal with it.
I was so wrong about Japan, on my way home I stayed in a hotel and saw nothing but kind considerate people. Did a tour of the city of Narita and Tokyo very clean very beautiful many trees and cherry trees blooming. Really a nice experience.
Did a little shed hunting monday had my permethrin treated pants on, found a damn deer tick burrowed in later that night. I hate deer ticks.
Been a while. So I bought some cleaner wax on the e-bay when I did my usual pay pal check out I had to change the ship to address because the seller does not ship to PO boxes. I get the tracking number and check it. Unbelievable the package is delivered to the local post office with an inaccurate ship to address because if the postal carrier tries to deliver to the street address there is no mailbox. Good thing I live in a small town where the postal people know me, I walk in with the slip for a package and they know my PO box number.
Now and then, you see a story about some kid who wasn't able to eat the regular lunch meal because of a higher negative balance on their lunch account. When it happens I see people crying how it is so bad that they only provide the kids with a cheese sandwich which usually comes with a drink and side like a fruit cup. Oh my a cheese sandwich is so terrible. Yet they never say anything about the same school serving Grilled Cheese sandwiches as a regular meal item. Why does grilling make a cheese sandwich magically acceptable?
If parents don't like the food, complain. Then if that doesn't work, make your own damn food for your kid. Bunch of whining victims in our country Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

So different these days my wife and I grew up in the same small town she works in at the middle school in the small town we live in can not get over how dependent and stupid some parents are now.
Rant. Uber drivers with these huge phones they've got mounted to their windshields in front of them creating a huge blind spot. WTH This guy this morning drove like it was a video game he was playing in. More focused on the huge phone than the road and people in front of him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To this end I have a client that LOVES calling me either during the last 10 minutes of the day, or 5-15 minutes after the day was supposed to end. If he calls after hours for something first it's my desk line - sometimes I answer, sometimes I don't. If I don't it's immediately on to the cell phone. 98% of the time he doesn't need anything critical. I also have clients that like to text me randomly on the weekends to "remind" me to do something for the following week. People have zero boundaries anymore when it comes to work and personal lives. They pretty much just assume you're working 24x7. Drives me nuts.
