If anything it's a good reminder that money and the social structures we have created dont mean squat when it all comes down to it. Life. The basics mean everything.
If I were the social media manager for a grocery store company I would figure out what the highest profit margin item in the store is then put out a mass post that there is a run on that item and we’re almost out. Once that item sold out I would move onto the second most profitable item and repeat the process. Then do the same for the 3rd, 4th, 5th etc....
Multiply it by 2.25 and tack on a 4 pack of toilet paper free with every purchase. Strict limit of 2 per customer, while supplies last. The final sentence seals the deal before they can research the deal.
Posted this to facebook, unbelievable it takes celebrity status to create freak out, not that it did in this case, but usually celeb names are used to emphasize the agenda. Just gonna say it as the numbers grow. Just because a Hollywood celebrity, national sports star, nationally known person or local legend gets diagnosed with Covid-19 does not amplify the threat. Covid-19 will infect, or not infect, those who it comes in contact with. Being higher profile status does not make it any more or any less infectious. Being someone that travels a lot or associates frequently with others that travel a lot will increase your chances of infection exponentially. If you like Tom Hanks and his wife or are a fan of the Utah Jazz you pose little risk of contraction. If you are fans of them, get over it as they are no better than you or I.
Found out yesterday that my aunt passed away. My rant is not that she died-she was 92. She died 25 Feb and my POS cousin never told anyone-including her own sister until last night!!! WTF!!!
