Trying to prepare an exec for the future regulatory proctological exam they will receive... Totally derailed! Amen brother. Amen!
Being reminded daily that you are coming up on the 25th anniversary of the worst day of your life. Like the news channels really care about the act and arent just pandering for ratings.
Less than 2 blocks away, I was living in the Regency Tower. Was in the elevator when it happened. Had I been running ahead if schedule.. But 2 family friends and one family member did not make it out. Just not something I like being constantly reminded of by some disingenuous news station or anchor.
So I had an extra trip to Houston wedged into my schedule, kinda sucks but it happens. Today our best field services/programmer guy comes walks by my desk and says hey when you have a minute stop by my office upstairs I need to talk to you. I was like crap I sure as hope he is not telling me he is leaving because he won't be I would get him what he needed to stay. Nope nothing like that he was supposed to go to a site in New Mexico but he gets altitude sickness and asked if I had time to go for him. Yep I will go I will leave on a sunday go to the site Monday, fly back Tuesday night to MSP get home sleep and head to Baton Rouge Wednesday morning. 5 trips in March back to back.
Watching a story on the news explaining to viewers how to properly wash your hands. Does the media feel that we are dependendant on them to tell us how to live life?
In a time where grown men and women are eating tide pods I am going to assume that there are plenty of folks out there who do need instructions on how to wash their hands.... unfortunately those happen to be the same folks who are unable to follow simple instructions such as the “do not eat” instruction they put on the box of tide pods.
Need to put on 2 rear struts on my truck. Tired of this bumpy ride. Any of you guys replace struts on your own? Thinking I can do it but dont want to get the truck all broke down and stuck in my garage if I screw up. Haha. Give me some hope I can get it done.
That sucks man. Bad. My aunt was a charge nurse in one of the OK city hospitals that day. She lives in Ardmore OK now. I've never lived through something like that but my dad was on the side of the Pentagon that was struck during 9/11. Had to take him to the ER that night for jet fuel inhalation. That day really messed him up.
Struts? Do you mean shocks? If so, very easy. The hardest part is getting the old rusted nuts loose and sometimes the old bushings will stick to mount and takes a little muscle to bust them off. Can be less then a hour job if not rusted up to bad. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
